Dolphins have meeting set (Update: No meeting set or even planned)

I think anything that doesn't come from official channels should be attributed in the subject title, ie: "Clayton tweets: Manning-Dolphins meeting on Monday".
 
He didn't have a meeting set up with Arizona either until a few hours ago.

It doesn't make sense for Manning not to interview with Miami unless Ross/Ireland told him they're not interested. Anyone believe that? Even if it's purely a Machiavellian move on his part to extract more money from Denver or Arizona, it's in his interest, even if he's not interested.

its kind of like cnn or fox news , they edit to what they want you to think. its a mindf###. in this case the editor is trying to put you into a panic mode so he dont feel alone. its a classic psychotic malfunction, but im not going to delve into that.
 
i'm not buying it until it happens (or doesn't in this case). The hack jobs in the press have been guessing all season on various things from coaching to F/A's. They don't seem to have any more of a clue than you or I. If we don't even talk to him (assuming he was interested in us), there will be hell to pay in Miami.

I'm assuming the same thing now. Perhaps they asked Manning to go around and see what offers he gets for Miami can see what the money will be and match it.
 
ya know, i normally do not get caught up in the whole media garbage, but ive got to say this...where is the media crying and whining about our media following peyton and supposedly "scaring" him off, when in denver, as soon as the private plane lands they have helicopters and cameras all over it...and not one peep...its freaking ridiculous that the media mafia talks out of both sides of their mouth...i used to take schefter's word as gospel, but its apparent his hard-on for denver is part of what he is reporting, and being part of ESPN has rotted his brain...the only guy that knows ANYTHING nowadays is Glazer...

people need to calm down, the only person who truly knows anything is Peyton himself, and I'm sure he knows exactly where he wants to go, all this parading around is just to get a better deal...gauge which franchise is really ready to compete for a championship...
 
and LaCanfora is a dunce...remember this is the same guy that said the following:

"Orton to Miami done by tonight..."
"Bradshaw to Miami in a few hours..."
"Fisher to Miami done..."

and on and on...please dont take stock into anything this moron says...he's like the enduro is the media world...
 
C'mon how about a little common sense ... Manning will interview with us.

Manning's savvy & won't offend anyone. He'll politely interview with everyone interested in him.

He won't string it out & cause hard feelings ... he'll just milk it for a bit of free publicity.

Then he'll make his decision & give a polite excuse. That's the way one looks good & creates good will which translates into more money.

Manning probably made his choice several months ago ... he's just doing due diligence & handling it like the pro he is.
