Most of the Dolphins' starters, however, will be thinking about the Sept. 7 regular-season opener against New England. Admittedly, that's their big game.
"We're already working on some stuff," quarterback Ryan Tannehill said. "We're getting ready to play St. Louis this week, but New England is in the back of our minds.
"So we've already started some preparation watching tape, getting ready to play. It's going to be a big game for us."
Good to hear they're already preparing for the Pats!
The Dolphins' starters aren't likely to play much, if any, against St. Louis. They took a lot of snaps at practice Monday and Tuesday, many of them against a scout team that simulated the Patriots offensively and defensively. Preparing starters for the Week One opponent in the final week of preseason isn't unusual in the NFL.
