Most of the Dolphins' starters, however, will be thinking about the Sept. 7 regular-season opener against New England. Admittedly, that's their big game.
"We're already working on some stuff," quarterback Ryan Tannehill said. "We're getting ready to play St. Louis this week, but New England is in the back of our minds.
"So we've already started some preparation watching tape, getting ready to play. It's going to be a big game for us."
Good to hear they're already preparing for the Pats!

The Dolphins' starters aren't likely to play much, if any, against St. Louis. They took a lot of snaps at practice Monday and Tuesday, many of them against a scout team that simulated the Patriots offensively and defensively. Preparing starters for the Week One opponent in the final week of preseason isn't unusual in the NFL.

hey guys, I think if you look closely, you can see words above Danny6813's signature

The preparation should be full go for New England.

Hey wait a minute here.. Do we have a QB on the scout team that simulates Tom Brady?!

If we block Chandler Jones, we're going to win the game. That dude is my #1 concern. I don't think Gronk is 100%.

Hi there Chandler, meet Mr Albert.

If Jones gets off on Tannehill it'll be bc no one was open and RT had to hold the ball too long. If we can run the ball on them I think we will be fine. Defensively, same deal, stop the run, force Brady to throw and then bring the heat on his candy ass.

Isn't Chandler Jones going to be lining up against Ja'Wuan James?

And I think Gronk plays.

Think win and it will come. Fins with the win. Not an upset. Thats for the clueless media to say.

This game against NE week one is HUGE!!!! Will also be a reality check for our homer fan base as well. I'm a positive fan with progressive expectations like everyone else but to say we are going to win isn't justified. We are going to get their best. Their best has been dominating our division for 10+ years.... I say its a toss up at best.

Well I'll be flying down from NC to scream my brains out and make it actually feel like a home game. Best part is my wife doesn't understand the crowd noise thing and yells for NE while they're on offense too.
