Chambers scored 2 TDS this weekend, think we could of used that??

I mean is there a worse starting tandem in the NFL in the last 20 years than Camarillo & Hartline?

pathetic...

It sickens me to agree to this post, but I was at the game yesterday and I had to say that a half a dozen times! Sometimes outloud even!!

You know what though.....it is sooooo clear it will HAVE to be addressed. This position has been consistantly thrown down priority list for years. And, I think draft picks are HIGHLY overvalued........Dwayne Bowe or someone of that Ilk would look awfully good in aqua and orange and you can have a 2 and a 4

Since KC was positioned higher than us on the waiver claim wire, this topic is essentially like the Seinfeld Show: a lot to do about nothing but potentially entertaining.

seems relatively simple to me....Ginn is what he is...Hartline COULD be a decent slot guy, occasionally split out wide....Haynos and Fasano are clearly #2 and #3 TE's....

The offense is missing a REAL pass catching TE and a REAL wide reciever. I don't buy to much into the #1 WR thing, but clearly Henne needs a safety blanket. A guy he can depend on the make a play when the heat is on. THAT is what we are missing.

Whether it be a dynamic WR or TE, I don't care. When we got the ball with 2:45 left on the clock, did anyone really think we were goin to drive the length of the field and score?

Even RB had a 9 yard pass dropped by one of our TEs (maybe Haynos)

That no.1 WR stuff is a bunch of **** it's all about players numbers..., we need a "play-maker" who doesn't need the ball 10-12 times a game or he pouts...

i wanted to write about his last week but i was suspended for comments i had posted. Last week we had an opportunity to pick up one of the best WR the fins have had this past decade in Chambers. We did not make the move and Chambers goes on to score 2 TDs. I thought he would of been a great addition to the team could of contributed on the field and maybe shown Ginny a thing or two.

i guess the Tuna knows what hes doing. i mean i think he does anyways

Easily.

And those who were bashing Chambers are lost. We need a player of his caliber who can MAKE BIG PLAYS at the WR position. We have no game changers at all at WR.

To me we need to look at it this way going into the offseason.............

Camarillo and Hartline are SOLID smart players who can play on my team anyday. But, basically they are 3rd and 4th guys. Possession guys. Camarillo can catch anything and both he and Hartline are TOUGH.

Bess is the same type of player only smaller and has shown he will put it on the turf. Do we really need 3 of these guys anyway??? I dont think so. We can afford to lose Bess. He drops too many these days and he fumbles.....see ya. Hartline has taken his spot. And those who would like to think Bess is a Welker.....he isnt. Welker is the same type of player, only in a different area code than Bess and he dosent fumble or drop balls either....get over it.

So that leaves us with Camarillo, Hartline and Ginn...............Ginn is a return guy and a #4 receiver who can come in and stretch the field sometimes....thats it. Nothing more, nothing less. Thats all he ever was. He just isnt a good receiver. He kills us with drops and runs sloppy, weak, routes. Keep him around to return kicks and be the #5 guy. Thats all.

So to solve the problem....we need not 1, but TWO starting caliber receivers who can make big plays, change games, and stretch the field. Draft one with a top pick and either trade for one or sign a big FA. There ya go.

OK I'll bite how the heck do you know that we didn't make an attempt...?

I think you're dead on. If the cards fall that way, great. But in one way or another we need to get playmakers on offense. I am not opposed to a TE that can occasionally be split wide and not look rediculous doing it....like haynos did yesterday.

I would still keep an eye on Anquan Boldin. Yesterday he was ticked about not being told by the coaches that he wasn't going to be active until right before kickoff when he thought he was good to go. He's been hampered by injuries as well. You'd have to think he'd love a fresh start somewhere. He'd immeditaely be the #1 receiver here. How many times have we seen guys who fall out of favor on one team go to the next and tear it up? It happens alot.

I wonder if his value drops just a bit in the offseason where we could go in and swipe him for a lower round pick than it would have taken this past offseason. I don't know that it would be that simple...I'm just saying that could get interesting.

Boldin is always hurt and way to expensive....he is clearly on the downward slope.
