Dolphins have toughest remaining schedule of remaining winless teams by opposing W-L records.

MIA (.615)
STL (.564)
MIN (.538)
IND (.487)
KC (.462)

If the Fins lose vs Chargers and then again and go 0-5, we are seriously looking at a 1-2 win season.

Suck for Luck 2012 !

i would love to watch us win, but right now im at the point where we need to clean house. new fo, staff, and andrew luck

Just looked up mediocrity online..Here was the definition - Miami Dolphins since Dan the Man retired.

Realistically Miami can finish 4-12. Depends on if they win one or two they shouldn't or if they lose one or two they shouldn't.

Good research. Interesting. Dolphins definitely have a tough schedule remaining. Denver and KC games are the easiest remaining, and who even knows how those two will go?

Hard to say whether firing Tony Sparano would improve our win column or do the opposite.

Doesn't matter. This team is not playoffs bound. They're not even respectability bound. This is a unique season in that Andrew Luck is probably going to be in the Draft and he's been viewed by everyone as the best QB to come out since Peyton.

For good reason.

Just one man, but there are dominos that fall based on where Andrew Luck falls. For instance, Bill Cowher is rumored to want to go to a team with a good QB situation. He's no fool. Whichever team gets the #1 overall pick will not only get hold of Andrew Luck, that team will probably have its choice of whoever is available from a Front Office and Head Coaching standpoint. Heck, some guys that aren't available may make themselves available to the team that holds the #1 pick. So you get that #1 pick and you get the new Peyton Manning, and if you're SMART in who you hire, then the entire field of candidates is open to you, no restrictions whatsoever.

People who are hoping for a few meaningless wins this season just don't get how much they will hurt the future of our team. It will come down to 1 or 2 wins that can keep us from getting our coach and QB of the future.

Which is EXACTLY why if you're Ireland and you've been told you are more or less safe, why would you NOT do everything you could to secure this scenario?

Well at least we're picking a good year to suck, franchise saviors don't come around often, and most/all experts say Luck is that kind of qb

Makes you wonder if that's why they decided to keep Sparano after losing out to Harbaugh. Knew the team already quit on him, figured chances were high they'd have a poor season and be in position to get one of the highly-rated QBs coming out. Would be a good way to covertly Suck for Luck. Could be one of those sabotage jobs WV was talking about.

This team has talent, no doubt about that. Put Andrew Luck on this team and fix the right side of the OL, add a Bill Cowher, and we're a serious contender...

I'd arugue that the Vikings have a tougher schedule than Miami does, and I think we can expect that Ponder will be starting halfway through the season.

Viking opponents:

Green Bay x 2
Chicago x 2
Detroit
Atlanta
Oakland
New Orleans
