Dolphins have toughest remaining schedule out of remaining winless teams.

Which 6 teams are we going to beat?

I see no more than 2 wins the way we are playing now. Denver and KC. 2-14

The defense won't suck this bad going forward, and the offense will eventually figure it out in the redzone. It's regression to the mean.

We currently have the 9th ranked offense according to DVOA. 9th! Offenses are more sustainable and stable (both game to game and season to season) than the defenses. We have no slate of good defenses, outside of the Jets (2 games), Giants (3) and Cowboys (4). Say we lose against all of them, the Bills sweep us and the Pats beat us again, which is the worst case scenario. 7 losses + 3 == 10 losses. With 16 games, I see 6 wins minimum.

Yes, that means I expect wins against San Diego, KC, Washington, Oakland and Philly. They all have huge defensive deficiencies.

Yes, I realize no one believes me. Yes, I realize I also expected an easy win against Cleveland.

I se your point and enthusiasm, but as defenses adjust as get better, so do offenses. I for one do not see our redzone inefficiancies getting figured out for the sole reason that they couldnt figure it out at all last year and I dont think Tony or Daboll is smart enough to suddenly get it. Henne just isnt a talent in the redzone, at all, IMO.

Also, I dont know about DVOA, and really dont put all that much stock into it as far as what I see in the rankings. Miami is 30 in total yards, 30 in passing, 16 in rushing, and most importantly, 26th in scoring. The most important stat, scoring, we are 6th from last in the league and going against some offenses that can put points on the board.

Also you do realize that a minimum of six wins is the worst possible thing that can happen to this franchise right? I hope your saying 6 because you actually THINK 6+ wins and not because you WANT 6+ wins. Because Ill tell ya, even with a minimum of 6 wins, this team absolutely will not win anymore than 9 (and thats with divine intervention) and the 6-10 through 9-7 win range is the absolute worst think that can happen to this team.

This team has talent, no doubt about that. Put Andrew Luck on this team and fix the right side of the OL, add a Bill Cowher, and we're a serious contender...

That's exactly how I feel.

The Dolphins are not the worst team in football. BUT, the Dolphins have a great shot at the #1 pick due to schedule circumstances.

If we get Luck, and then get our pick of head coaches,.... we would be in a great spot because this team has talent on it. It's just not being used correctly by both Sparano and Chad Henne.

I'm all aboard the "Suck For Luck" bandwagon !!

While they lack on defense, SD, OAK, and PHI can put up points.

It's the logical thing to expect.

But I *hope* for 13 wins.

San Diego has been struggling offensively, and it mostly traces to the absence of Antonio Gates. It really takes so much out of their offensive packages.

Philly is crapshoot. Yes, they can score plenty, *if* Vick plays well. Otherwise they're dead in the water.

As far as Oakland... yeah, that's a tough nut to crack. But we'll see.

B/C so many people think the Phins would have a chance at Luck after going 2-14, you know they're going to draft a linebacker. You know this

Not sure why we're listing teams like St. Louis and Minnesota.

If Minnesota lands the top pick, I doubt they give up on Christian Ponder without seeing virtually anything from him.

There is NO WAY St. Louis give Sam Bradford the finger.

Miami. Indianapolis. Kansas City.

These dudes are playing for Andrew Luck.
