The only thing that matters is what junc thinks matters even though nobody thinks highly of junc... What world do you live in? Is the air thinner there? I'm sorry but no matter how much you laugh, you're a fan of a HISTORICALLY terrible football franchise that has seen very very little success in the entirety of their existence. I can see why that would make you jealous of fans of a team such as ours and even make you lash out as you often do here. My team has been historically mediocre, your team has been historically better but you've been bad for a LONG time now. I am glad you have precious memories of the 70s and 80s though.
I was a baby in the 70s so I wish we had a decade like you guys had I don't get jealous of the 70s, we were good in the 80s and the late 90s. I wish we had more SB apps like you guys though but at least we have competed for the right to go to SBs post '93.

And, Mediocre? Really? They have a losing record. That's not mediocre, that's awful. Nice spin though.
I bring it up when it is relevant to a discussion, do I bring up the 80s? do I bring up SB III? those days aren't relevant. the title game apps are especially when the discussion turns to our former QB who helped us reach those games. It sucks to have lost but you surely would agree it's better than sitting at home every postseason, right?

Those days would be relevant to you if your team weren't so terrible during that time.
that's awesome but the greatest team in the history of the division has dominated since then and we are the ONLY team to win the AFC East besides NE in a year Tom Brady was the primary starter for NE. we still made a bunch of playoff apps and we even knocked off our biggest rivals on the road in postseason a year they went 14-2 and looked unstoppable.
I don't hijack anything, go through the records. it's usually other posters who only want the homer point of view hijacking it by attacking me or bringing up something Jet related. I go w/ the flow. wherever you guys want the discussion to go I'll go with it. I don't run and hide like certain posters(cough*cough*presnapreads*cough). sorry if it offends but no team has dominated the division like NE has. 11 div titles in 13 years, would be 12 in 13 if Brady didn't get hurt in 2008, 5 SB apps, 3 SB wins. a true dynasty, only Pitt, SF and Dallas have had true dynasties.
Miami was great in the 70s but they weren't the '01-'current Pats.
how was that deflecting anyway? you bashed us for not winning more div titles. we had the Pats to deal with making it almost impossible.

There was much better diversity back then, as far as our division goes. We saw mini-dynasties of the Colts and Fins in the 70's, the Fins and Bills in the 80's and a pretty even split of the 5 teams (minus the lone division title the jests took in 1998) during the 90's. Yes, the Pats have dominated the division since 2001 but in my opinion, that's Belicheck benefiting from his own god given ability to polish turds into diamonds, and a glaring weakness by the remaining 3 teams in the division.
It'd be like Bills fans whining about how they'd have won a bunch od SB's if only the Cowboys weren't so darn good.
the Bills lost to 3 different teams in SBs so they can't blame it on the Cowboys.
NE is all about Brady not Belichick. I have Marino in my top 5 all time but I think Brady has moved past him, he is just amazing. Dan slowed down at the end after some injuries and getting older, Brady just doesn't look like he is slowing down. it sucks that 2 of the QBs I admire the most tormented my team for so many years.
