Dolphins, Holliday nearing four-year deal

I feel this is a mistake. But, it is what it is, and it shouldn't necessarily be considered a huge mistake.

It just means there's a lot of pressure on Kevin Carter now, in terms of his salary and his eventual replacement Matt Roth.

Nice!

Traylor, Wright, and Holiday all returning. DLine should be set.

Holliday didnt really start...Kevin Carter started, and Holliday played like 75% of the game...but i know he didnt "start". nonetheless he is great player, so is kevin carter...i think carter has a 5 year deal, so he has a few years left...but i think this should be his last, we need to give Matt Roth the start...as for giving Vonnie a 4 year deal, i also think thats a mistake...give him a 2 year deal...then replace him with Rod Wright.

a mistake for the second best defensive end on the team behind Jason Taylor?? Go figure...

I've got mixed emotions about this. Yea, sure we sign back a good player on our defense which ranked in the top five for most of the year. But at the same time it keeps our younger players from getting a chance and if he really is getting paid 20 million, then that's less money to be used on a younger FA. I guess you can say I'm caught between a rock and a hard place.
