One subject that came up in the pre-game show was about the fins having no identity. I thought to myself it wasnt an accurate statement. Ball control mistake free offense, bend but dont break defense. This is how we won last year, with a system that fits our player. Penny is perfect for the offense we run. On defense our weak secondary wont make plays 9 time out of ten in man coverage, so just play sound, make tackles and wait for the other team to make a mistake.

Its frustrating to lose like we did last night because I feel that on one side of the ball, we have never been so close to the identity the whole organization and fans have been dreaming for... I think its so unfair to blame the offense on that one because they have executed their mission as close to perfection as you could ever get. 200+ rushing yards, keep Manning on the bench, he was for under 25% of the whole game.

You cannot have super stars at every positionin football and something's gotta give. The front office decided to spend big on the OL. With that in mind you have to compromise at other positions and then form your philosophie. We have a really young WR corp and its showing so Penny is even more important considering his experience.

bottom line is the offense did exactly what they were suppose to do, and so did the defense... But boy did they go the wrong way about it. Idont know if they took the expression ''take'em off the field'' litterally and just assumed that if they score then they will basically get off the field...?

I've read a bunch of non-sense today... Crowder cant even cover Clark get rid of him...? If you see a ILB one on one with Dallas Clark, whoever that player is, that play is designed to have someone in Peyton's face within 1.5 second of the snap because this is the amount of time Clark is gonna be covered on that play. Every single WR in the league will come down with that ball Ginn dropped, he's soft, doesnt have any balls... 1) Its not Penn's fault, the ball wasnt perfectbut it was good enough. 2) Ginn could have caught that and probably would come down with it 2 times out of 3. He didnt. He did convert 3rd downs all game to end the day with 100+ yards. But yet he gets the blame while not one player on defense even came close to making one game changing play. The way they were playing,I'm sure glad Ginn made those clutch 3rd downs catchesas he might have saved the defense a couple more embarrassing Indy drives...
