Dolphins in a tight spot when it comes to tight ends

The lack of quality at the TE position doesn't help any quarterback especially one under intense pressure. It's a huge oversight by this FO, to not even draft a true TE this year to develop was criminal.

And how's that working/worked for them?

Keyshawn has a SB ring and Fitz played in a SB.......Quick name the TE on the Pats 3 SB? Some of the best TE in the game dont have a SB ring.......if you have weapons that a team has to game plan for the TE will benefit from it regardless what his name is.......

Are you really saying we couldn't have upgraded talent wise from Fasano? Are you saying a position known to be a safety outlet for skittish QB's could have benefited this team?

Forget the free agents, last years draft was stacked even after round 3 and we passed every time. Even this year we could have drafted some athletic talents and ended up with a H-Back that can't block. If they don't get creative to use Clay's receiving skills to exploit the offense, then it's a wasted pick. Bottom line is our HC is an "expert" in OL and TE which are the looking like the poorer units on the team (after QB). Glad our team is stacked with underperforming overpaid cornfed linemen though (outside long).

No what I'm saying is this team had other pressing needs that were addressed in the draft and FA....TE though important wasnt the most glaring weakness this team had, RB,WR,OL and Defensive depth was more important when you have a guy who could be good in Fasano...not a bad fall back plan....

The OL will be fine, I dont know where all this talk about how bad our OL is.....Columbo is a solid RT and will play the position well, moving Carey inside will help the pass protection from the inside...Pouncey will be an above avg Center with some playing time and Incognito is solid at LG plus we have a legit back up at LT in Murtha

Relax give this team a chance to show how they are going to use the new toys they have, you will see more motion, more 3-4-5 wide sets, u will see Bush lined up all over the field and they will be attacking dont worry about the TE, if its the weakest part of our offense everyone will be happy.
