For those of you directv superfans the Dolphins will be in HD for the Bills and the Bucs!!!
How sweet it is!!!!

i hate those guys.... when the dolphins started loosing last year they suddenly stoped showing the games in HD...
what kind of crap is that... are they going to pretend to us that they cant afford the equipment to cary the last 3 or 4 games in hd each week....
ohhh this subject gets me steamed:fire:

Well from what I have seen and heard CBS only has 3 HD crews so they only carry max of 3 HD games each week. Fox on the other hand has 6 HD crews so most weeks all their games are HD. IF you look at the schedule for any week you will see CBS never has more then 3.

Sweet! Nice to see that extra investment I made in upgrading to the SuperFan package is paying off.

The Packers have 3 MNF games...and the Dolphins don't even get a Sunday night game? Yeah, that seems about right.

I have the superfan but my TV is not HD ready. Do I have to buy a receiver for HD and watch programs that are in HD? Don't know too much about it and have never seen a program in HD.

You may want to consider dropping the Super Fan Package. It's not really worth it at all if you don't have the Hi-Def equipemt. There are some extra features like the Game Mix channels and Game Shortcuts, but it's not worth the cost if you can't see the games in Hi-Def. For Hi-Def you need the receiver and an HDTV.

Thanks. I am going to see if I can buy a HD receiver for my TV (If I am able to). The superfan was on sale for $49.

Directv has a special going on those. Call up and say since you bought superfan that you got the letter for the 'special offer'.

THey sent out a letter saying that superfan wasn't compatible with a bunch of older equipment and you could get an HD reciever free.

Just call up the 1800Directv and tell them you want the free HD reciever. They'll probably install it free also so thats great if you also need the oval dish or multiswitch

You will need an HD receiver and an HD compatible TV, but let me tell you it's worth every penny.

Yes, Once you watch a game in HD, you'll never wanna watch another one without it.

hold on there....

you have to have an HD tv and HD reciever... unless your tv has the reciever built in... so this is no 100$ upgrade.... your looking at spending $1500 minimum...

so unless you have that kind of bread dont even go to the tv store... cause if you see HD you cant live without it!

update: now that i think about it... you can get the reciever for free from direct tv if you recommit for another year.

i live where cbs broadcasts the games...so it sucks i cant get the hi-def version unless my local cbs doesn't broadcast it :(

Look, before you do that, like the previous poster said make sure you have a HDTV. That means your tv will have to be relatively new and most likely not the standard definition square box of the past. You should know if you have one or not due to the thiness of your wallet after the purchase. :D

I seem to remember reading about some kind of open scheduling for the last half of the season, where if the teams playing Sunday or Monday night end up being duds, they can swap the game for one of the Sunday afternoon matchups. I don't know if it was a proposal, or if it was accepted, or if it was even for this season.

Anybody have the scoop?
