I like J.T. O'Sullivan and I remember that I also liked Brian St. Pierre when he came out of college.

I still like Dave Ragone. Man he was awesome in Linehan's system in college if I remember right. He's definitely shown some skills as a backup with the Texans and in NFL Europe.

I like Mauck, Davey, and St. Pierre, but is it also possible that they are looking into a trade for a Phillip Rivers, or Matt Shaub type? I would think the price would be pretty high for those two though.

I would love to get Shaub if the price is right - start him halfway through the year and see if we found our starter.

Is Josh Harris still available? He fits the mold of the "developmental QB" Saban's looking for. Strong armed, good size (weight), throw first mentality and still very young at only 22. He still is a bit raw in some aspects (much like Culpepper, he holds the ball out too far when moving around), but that's what a developmental QB is all about.

but Rohan is the same age as Sage (27), he's not really a young QB compared to these others (22-24 years old)

yea 27 thats not that old he has 4 to 5 good yrs if he turns out well thats a lot if u ask me n besides these rookies will take a while to develop to the point where davey is already i jus think after 2 good yrs of nfl europe he deserves a look... look at what happen with delhomme didnt he come from over there?

yes, I found it......Jeff Smoker WAS in fact recruited by none other than Nick Saban before he left!

Smoker went through that, by all accounts, brilliantly. Played so well in fall practice that they didn't even red-shirt him. Forget the fact that the guy who had recruited him, Nick Saban, was at LSU now. Smoker had felt comfortable with Michigan State and wanted to show people that he could be successful there.
