Dolphins in need of a superstar

Bam , I think it speaks volume about the nation's opinion of miami because for a 1st rd picks neither Jason Allen , Ted Ginn , or Ronnie Brown have impressed anyone other then fin fans thus it is leaveing us with a big void. If you include losing Zach and Jason that just makes the gap seem bigger.
if we could we ought to trade for wr Anquan Boldin and then that would give us some star power.

I know most people dont get caught up in this but when you listen or watch nfl talk shows it really sucks when they skip the dolphins and i like having a real good offensive player and a good defensive player.

So we need a star player so that they can talk about us on NFL talk shows? Puh-leese.

Sometimes not having a"superstar" is the best situation for a team. I know it was for the no name defense.

we need a superstar cause we need talent!!!

Rebuilding teams don't need or want superstars, that's why they trade them away for draft picks and prospects.

The Fins need to establish a SYSTEM that will work well regardless of who is plugged into it. Until that foundation is laid, we wont get the full return on any talent we bring in.

We don't need star power, or a superstar. We had 2 on the team last year. We went 1-15. What we need is a team. With no stars on this team nobody will be relying on the other guy to make plays. I really believe we have big name players of the future on the team now. Faces will emerge.

Very true, look at the Giants. I know they had some big names like Strahan and Manning, but they won the super bowl without some of their past big names like Barber and Shockey.

A superstar? I want several. You can win without them but not as often or as decisively or generally as late in the season as you can win with them.

It is interesting how a point is argued based on current predicament. We lack superstars so now the optimistic focus is on team oriented play, yada yada.

Meanwhile, we'll root for Washington to stink so that 2nd round pick is higher, i.e. theoretically more chance at a superstar.

no its so we can win some games instead of 1 or 4. get my point?
