Dolphins in need of a superstar

We have several superstars on this team. The national media is just too stupid too see it.

and u either..

A) dono talent when u look at players
B) are in denial like everyone else on this board
C) just in ur own world lol
i go with D) ALL OF THE ABOVE.

I don't believe a superstar can single handedly change the outcome of a game. Devin Hester is arguablely the best return man in football, and is only as good as the 10 guys blocking for him.

Rebuilding teams don't need or want superstars, that's why they trade them away for draft picks and prospects.

The Fins need to establish a SYSTEM that will work well regardless of who is plugged into it. Until that foundation is laid, we wont get the full return on any talent we bring in.

Someone who knows football. Would you look at that. Thank god people like SR 7 don't run this team.

The 2001 Patriots didn't have a superstar (Brady wasn't at the time).

With that said, if Ronnie Brown plays a full season, he will be a star.

This is a rebuilding franchise, if you look at superstars / faces of the organization? It's going to have to be ronnie brown and ricky williams AFTER the season and they prove to be the best running back tandem in the AFC.

I am Miami's superstar.....fan. Matter of fact Im being inducted into the NFLF Hall of Fame in Canton, MS.

We wear Purple sports coat.

Im the guy who has the sign "John 3:16"

Ricky Williams=NFL rushing champ, probowl MVP, and numerous Dolphin and NFL records. Joey Porter= perrenial probowl player and one of the best LB's to play the game. Ronnie Brown= leading the NFL in yards from scrimmage last year until injury. Bill Parcells= greatest franchise builder and rebuilder in NFL history. Lots of young high picks=potential for the next star player. Quit whinning and set back and watch.

I for one the emphasis is not placed on the players we have. Nothing like being a pleasant surprise during the season.

Game plan? For who? As G-Force already stated, we already have some well respected players on our roster.

I think this thread should be more under the 'face of the franchise' conversation.

I gotta say, while I hate the fact that JT is gone, I like the idea of us not have a "Superstar" on the team. We are in the proccess of rebuliding and the fact we don't have a person like that on the team means everyone can concentrate on the work at hand.

Bam , I think it speaks volume about the nation's opinion of miami because for a 1st rd picks neither Jason Allen , Ted Ginn , or Ronnie Brown have impressed anyone other then fin fans thus it is leaveing us with a big void. If you include losing Zach and Jason that just makes the gap seem bigger.
if we could we ought to trade for wr Anquan Boldin and then that would give us some star power.

I know most people dont get caught up in this but when you listen or watch nfl talk shows it really sucks when they skip the dolphins and i like having a real good offensive player and a good defensive player.

i guess that's what happens when you go 1-15.

what i think sr-7 and I are try to say is that some of you guys are in denial about how much better the dolphins are going to be . I for one would like to have a pro bowl wr and a pro bowl olineman and a real good qb . the important thing i want to see for sure is for miami to get much better on all three units especialy specail teams and offense . i think the defense will be better but i want us to be a respectable franchize again and that is all i want besides the winning stuff.
