Mike Pouncey will be back today, and back at his original position.

Via Jeff Darlington of the NFL Network, Pouncey will start at right guard today against the Packers after missing the first four games coming off hip surgery.

The move was expected, as Samson Satele has been better in the middle than the replacements the Dolphins have tried at guard.

If he’s back and playing well, the Dolphins might try to wear away at the Packers, who are playing in some unusual heat for this time of year.

Reshad Jones starts as I reported days ago. Pouncey starts at RG as Darlington reported. Jelani Jenkins over Trusnik as I reported.
 
That's. ****ing. Awesome.

Watch him just maul people now w/o having to worry about snapping the ball.

Also Gibson being out equals a better chance to see Landry.
 
Heck yes jones should start too. I started Landry in fantasy I have a hunch he goes off today. When you watch GB they are weak at nickel
 
So with D Thomas [RB] on the inactive list, this means we have only 3 active backs?? or did I miss something - a tad risky with Moreno just returning from injury.

I don't think so unless you think Miller and williams will both get hurt
 
Hopefully they've got the communication down. Satele is better as a center than Dallas Thomas is at guard but in terms of passing guys off and communicating Satele and Pouncey have no experience together nor does JuWaun James have any familiarity with Pouncey being immediately to his left.

Fortunately it's a home game and therefore won't be as loud. And Benton is an excellent coach. But still, something to watch. If I was Dom Capers I'd definitely be throwing blitzes and T/E stunts to that side early and often.
 
A few weeks ago, I was certain that our Pro Bowl center would return to the lineup as a center. I was wrong, but it does make sense since Satele has played so well and the healthy options at guard if you bench Satele for Pouncey are not as good. They are definitely getting the five beat lineman on the field for this game.
 
Jenkins starting at LB.... Best news of the day. Thank god i don't have to watch Trusnik suck all over the field...sweeeeeeeeeeeet
 
I am disappointed seeing Thomas inactive. I'd rather see Williams be inactive as Thomas has looked like a different back since returning. I hope that means Moreno is more healthy than I think he is, but I'm very worried about him fumbling with that elbow brace and possibly re-injuring it.
