[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif][SIZE=-1]On Saturday, July 8, the Miami Dolphins inflated their new 96,600 square-foot indoor practice facility, which is being built on the west side of the existing training facility building in Davie.
The facility, which will contain a regulation football field, also should help the Dolphins from a competitive standpoint as it will allow for closer game simulation during practice, especially in days approaching road games. The facility will feature a artificial surface, and could be utilized in weeks leading up to games at stadiums with the same or similar surface. It also allows for climate control as well as simulating potential crowd noise.

Looks like it's coming along and should be ready come TC. I'm glad Wayne is dedicated to helping the team. He truly is a great owner, and it will be great when he gets his Super Bowl ring.

Mods can delete this thread I didn't see it posted.

I thought it looked more like an outy.
:lol:I didn't notice it before. I have no idea what it is. Or what it's for.

It looks like the nipple or outy might be where they are going to put the miami dolphins logo at.

I'm not sure, just a guess.

They need to get out and pressure wash the bubble though. It looks a lil dirty IMHO. Specially seeing no one has even tossed that tater in it yet.

I'll tell you what, as fans, we have been blessed with two great owners. Joe Robbie did what other owners couldn't do by building his own stadium (too bad his family didn't have his business sense) and now Mr. H....I remember the merry-go-round that was the Eagles organization when I was a youngster, before moving back to SF in '67...

The only thing we could fault Mr. H. on was being too loyal to certain members of his organization, but as a business person myself, I understand where he was coming from. However, if he had let Wanny go sooner, we might not have ended up with St. Nick, so I guess it'll show to be worth the extra year or so that Wanny was kept on...

Again, as you said, it's great to have an owner who is obviously gearing this team up to be champions again...

Mr. H is as hungry for a championship as "ALL" of us.

Looks pretty cool!!! But, what's with the nipple?

Not sure but I think that is a inner liner AC unit. The way those things are constructed it has to have a inner and outter liner. The way they are raised is by injecting air into the space between the two liners. Otherwise every time you opened the door to go in it would deflat.
If in the hot sun the air between the two liners gets too hot it will expand to the point it could cause damage. Therefore they would need to have a way to regulate, not only the air inside the stadium, but also inside the walls of the stadium.
Not 100% sure, but that is what I think it is.

Let me get this straight. What you are saying is Wayne now employs St. Nick?? Isn't that Santa Clause?? So now I know where to send my kids when they asked Santa for something and they didn't get it. Cool, man I am asking for a SB win this year. Wayne must be rich to buy out Santa Clause. Did he get all the reindeers and elfs also?? Man I can't believe I didn't hear about this.
