Dolphins interested in Leon Hall

I've been hoping for this news. I really think he'd be a superb acquisition for at least a year. It's a young CB room, he'd really help with experience and quality. We learned last year how many CBs you need in this league. Let's not fall foul to poor depth again. Get him signed.

When I saw Sun-Sentinel, that was the 1st thing I thought, Omar is know to do anything and everything to get people clicking on his stories.

Posted that due to some interest here in Hall. That said, one sentence stands out . . .
"The source said Hall, 31, is healthy now, and would love a reunion with Vance Joseph, the Dolphins' defensive coordinator, whom Hall played under for four seasons in Cincinnati."

Thus, it appears the source knows Hall's health and his expressed love to get back with JV. That can SOUND like Hall's agent, trying get the price up from the Giants. Nonetheless, It's all I have.
 
I watched this yesterday, I don't recall Omar framing it as the Dolphins have interest in Leon Hall. Then again, I had it on in the background while working.
 
It's a no brainer.

IF he's healthy, it's a great addition and a need.

Miami has the potential to be vastly improved in the defensive secondary this year. Maxwell, Hall and Howard are big time better than Grimes, McCain and Taylor. Even Lippett will contribute this year, imo -- Lippett isn't overly fast, but he's got great football IQ.

You improve the DBs like this. And add in a healthy Kiko to MLB, keep Jones healthy at S, and suddenly Miami looks way better up the middle and on boundaries. Vertical thirds aren't gonna give WRs huge separation windows and automatic completions for every ball just thrown up there, like last year, many times.

Pick up Hall if he's healthy.

We will be making some moves Wednseday the 12.

Hall FA counts against the comps, Doubt they would sign him before then, even if they do want him...... IMO....

Wouldn't be surprised to see Jones, Hall and Arian Foster then but not sooner..
 
Seems like a speculation story, although they certainly could have interest.

But if that is the case, why not just keep Brice McCain? I assumed some comfort at the nickel with Bobby Mac and Michael Thomas gave them reason to let him go.

I think Brice McCain was the best nickel option, better than Hall and his contract was reasonable.

I tend to agree on McCain. He was misused on the outside last year and got abused as a result.
 
Omar Kelly story. Means there is no chance he will sign. He makes **** up.
