Dolphins interested in Redskins DE Jarvis Jenkins

Liked him coming out of Clemson. He'd be a DT for us, and if we're in the mix, with Suh looming, it means he'll be cheap. I'd gladly take Jenkins for a cheap contract. Had a rough start in Washington with the ACL injury, but I'd like the signing - again, assuming it's cheap.
 
yeah i think this has sneaky good potential as a signing for us as a rotational dt...
 
He was/is a 3-4 DE in DC right? he does weigh 315 which is a little more than JO so thats good..has he ever played the DT spot in a 4-3? could be a good cheap signing
 
i think he played 3 tech at clemson...miscast imo in a 34 as a 5 tech...
 
would be a fall back option if we don't get Suh.
 
rather have terrance knighton as a fallback plan before this guy...but he will prob go to oakland...
 
The report that the Fins are interested might give more credence about Suh going to Oakland.
 
He would be a cheap option to go with Suh. Without Suh, there are a number of higher priced options much better.
 
Last year, Jenkins played 552 snaps, and had a grade of -6.2 run, and -7.2 pass. In 2013, it was about the same after missing the first 4 games. He will be very cheap, and have no effect on the cap.

I'm thinking the opposite. A cheap vet like Jenkins can now be brought in to compete with our young guys for snaps in the rotation. IMO, he is now a more likely target.
