Dolphins interested in WR Ace Sanders

with Parker out I like the approach. Plus special teams worth a look

No deal is imminent as Sanders remains unsigned 10 days after being cut by the Jags. This "interest" likely amounts to an exploratory phone call between the team and Sanders' agent. Jul 27 - 8:08 AM

Since being cut by the Jacksonville Jaguars, wide receiver and kick returner Ace Sanders remains unsigned.

Sanders has drawn interest from NFL teams who are looking into his play and character, including the Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins, according to sources.

No deal is imminent for Sanders as training camps get started around the league.

Sanders is a 2013 fourth-round draft pick from South Carolina.

Sanders had a four-game suspension for violating the NFL substance-abuse policy during his time with the Jaguars.

Sanders has caught 57 career passes for 539 yards and a touchdown.

He also threw a touchdown pass in 2013 on a trick play against the Houston Texans.

He returned 57 punts for a 7.1-yard average. However, his longest return was just 23 yards

Kicking tires

now with confusing reports that Parker is ready by week 1 (assuming no training), I like this potential more

Signing Sanders would not impact the team's ability to sign a guard. I think Sanders is better than some of the receivers currently on the training camp roster.

will get killed for this..
But, I would like to see him at KR and PR. He is a "home run hitter". I realize Landry had a good average, but he is not very explosive, and lets keep him fresh for wr
