Jarvis Landry probably wants to kick field goals too... Dude you're going to be great, just settle down and play WR...

LOL. I love the fact that he wants the help he team by any means possible and he probable feels he is the best option as a returner as well, but I'm with you; focus on continuing to be our best WR.

Team wants to give it to lamike james but he didnt earn it in the opener...its a good thing for him this teams got run of the mill written all over it at rb...still need to see ajayi but this teams rb talent that played is not hard to find

Lamike james problem is his game looks more suited for college than the pros...

That was a great route by landry on the td...he pressed the los vertical early before the out cut to give him the time and space for tanny to hit him front pylon...because of the vertical press db plays it more honest difference in a td and a contested throw

Landrys so polished...a lot of wrs round that off...the early vertical press was textbook...wr coaches dream

Thanks for pointing that out. Because from my view point it kinda look like a dangerous throw that the DB may have been able to make a play on.

Greg jennings is gonna give us more than hartline also...wr core looks solid...really nice route from mathews on that 3rd down conversion too...not sure he runs that clean a route in years prior but that was textbook

Stills and parker play as advertised and we in business at wr

I couldn't be more opposed to Landry Returning kicks. It might be the most dangerous job in football.

Matthews did a great job on that pivot route in turning Fuller inside and then getting back outside with good footwork. That stood out to me, especially after he had slipped and fell on the same route, different playcall earlier in the drive that forced Tannehill to scramble on 3rd and 2.

I thought tannehill had a little bit of hesitation to tuck it and run early...just not quite as fluid and natural as id like to see in year 4...but it was very early and hes a guy who gets in rhythm as the game goes along

Dont stand in there too long...use the athlete

You give him basic coverages and time to go thru progressions and hes gonna torch you...team needs to let the qb make plays with his arm more this year in the red zone...dont limit ryan tannehill

Good to finally see Matthews get love on here, the kid can play. Play him. The rook and Stills need to earn it and get healthy.

No one is fluid or natural on their first pre season game no matter what year the QB is in. Takes about 3 regular season games to really be in full form. The best QB in the league looked pretty mediocre last night and he threw 19 times! (Rodgers and lots of QBs) so lets give it some time. I knew when we beat brady week 1, it wouldn't be the brady we would face in our next game. Same with Tannehill took a while to get it going. That being said if it's not a designed run I doubt we will see Tannehill who clearly wants to develop into a top 10 pocket passing or passing in general QB run early. I'd prefer it be the way honestly in pre season.

I am not so worried about Juice getting hurt on ST's you can get hurt anywhere, anytime on the field its the risk every player takes as soon as the ball is snapped or kicked. It's the unnecessary milage and toll it has on his body. Every tackle every extra sprint is something taken away from him on his regular duties. I want him as fresh as possible in his routes he is too important a weapon in this offense, they don't need him winded or taking any snaps off because he needs to recover from his last return.

We definitely need someone else returning punts. James didn't make 1 correct decision Thursday night on whether to fair catch or make a play on the ball. Every time he made a decision, he should have done the other. Looks like we are force feeding this role to him. Doesn't have to be Landry, but needs to be someone who can at least make proper decisions.
