Head coach Adam Gase said Ajayi will be granted a clean slate heading into Week 2 against the Patriots, ESPN.com reports. "We're back to basically [where] he's back in meetings, he's back in the building," Gase said. "We left him back. That was my decision and we've cleaned that up. We'll move past that and basically this is a new day for him today."

I wonder where he is on the depth chart. Wasnt he demoted to 3rd and that's when he flipped out?

I'd like to see Drake and Pead get some touches. They both add some electricity that Foster and Williams don't quite have.

Ajayi has looked like a JAG and could just be depth at this point. I'd rent and not buy if I were him.

He will most likely get some carries Sunday. Hopefully he makes the most of them while taking out some frustration on the Patriots.

With Miami's run blocking eveyone looks like JAG. When the blocking gets better, and it likely will, we'll get a better idea about all the backs.

Have to think Miami looks running back early in next years' draft. There's some serious talent coming out at the position.

I do hope that Ajayi can rebound, but he didn't look good in preseason. Foster looked like he has plenty left in the tank in the opener, but he's not a long-term answer.

Of course the team could end up going with a committee approach next year, look to free agency etc. But, I also believe that Gase is a guy who will value premium talent at the position.

Ajayi in Nigerian means born face down. Sell sell sell.

Holy crap Jake is a Hebrew name meaning "He grasps the heel". Sell sell sell.

What does Dallas Thomas translate to....."always flat on back"???

Dallas is Scottish for " meadow dwelling " and Thomas is said to be the Apostle who doubted Jesus Resurrection. Having doubts is in his DNA. A meadow dwelling just stands there so yeah it's him in the meadow or on the field.
