I'm over here now
Listening to local radio here in nj yesterday and Feidler was on. He stated that when he played the Jets down in Miami that it was like an away game....<<<<<prik<<<<<

that got me heated, but , any event.....is that true?

There are a lot of Jets fans who come to Miami, but conversely, there are a ton of Dolphins fans in New Jersey that go to the game when we play up there too.

It goes both ways.

...also, after Nick Saban's defense eats Fiedler alive, he won't know the difference from home, away, his @ss or a hole in the ground anyway.

Is your defense going to be sitting on the bench next to Fiedler? Other than that, not sure how they are going to eat him alive.

:)

Not quite as many dolphin fans in NY as there are jet fans at Miami games especially since we became good. before Parcells got here and we stunk there were alot more dolphin fans as tickets were easier to come by from disgruntled season ticket holders but the # has gone way down. The dolphin-Jet game I went to at Miami was at least 30% Jet fans which is an awful lot.

Ok, well good luck getting by our o-line.

The Dolphins defense has always been strong, but you have to admit it is getting a bit long in the tooth now and not stacking up with the other Defenses in the AFC East.

if Parcells wanted to come back to the Jets would you want him or keep herm edwards?

Good question.

At this point, right now on August 5th, 2005 I would keep Herm. This is his team and he has been successful.

If we were talking a year or two from now, if the Jets don't manage to go to the next level, I would welcome back Bill.

Of course, it is looking more and more like Big Bill really needed little Bill.

I'd keep Herm, obviously Parcells is an all-time great coach but he had his chance here and didn't finish the job. He left a yar too soon and also cost us Belichick b/c BB didn't trust Parcells lurking over his shoulder. I appreciate everything he did in turning us around from laughingstock to one of the better teams in the AFC but that time has past and I am very comfortable w/ Herm and w/ the great assistants Herm has.

Not true, I have been to some Dolphin/Jets games here, and there were time where it almost felt like as many Dolphin fans as Jets fans. There are rarely too many Dolphins at Jets games, because tickets are too much trouble to get at times and with the way Jet fans tend to behave, sometime it is just better to watch it on TV, then to get in a fight with a very Drunk fan.

Does it really matter, one is a great motivator and a pretty good coach though a bit overrated and will runaway the moment things get tough, the other will stick around good or bad, an ok motivator, not as good a coach. Either one will hurt the team in one way or the other.

It hasnn't been like that since the mid 90s when we stunk.
