Porter: All-talk Jets must deal with no-joke Dolphins on Sunday

"Bart Scott over there running his mouth. Kerry Rhodes running his mouth. The head coach running his mouth. But on Sunday, they're going to have to deal with us."

"They've been taking shots all week," Porter said. "Coach (Ryan) made a couple of comments. They (are) talking over there as if they beat us last time. But we're ready for this game on Sunday."

Porter went on to call out Ryan for what he perceived as a disrespectful remark about Dolphins cornerback Will Allen being out for the season with a left knee injury.


Asked by the Miami media whether he felt bad about the Dolphins losing their best veteran defensive back, Ryan replied: "I don't care about that. We lost a Pro Bowl nose tackle (Kris Jenkins) and a Pro Bowl running back (Leon Washington). So boo hoo hoo."
Replied Porter: "When he talks shots and makes fun of a guy being out for the season, as a player you take that personal.

That's like talking about my family member. He made a little comment about Will Allen being hurt, saying 'Boo hoo hoo,' as if it's a joke or something."

"We'll see if it's a joke on Sunday. There's nothing the coach can do about it. When he's got to see his players out there to play us on Sunday, that's something they'll have to deal with."

haha i love it! the difference between him talking smack and crowder is that porter actually will back it up on sunday. i really hope crowder steps up the 2nd half of the year
 
HAHA, nice, smooth words this time. and the comment was disrespectful. We werent crying about it so wtf. Kill Sanchez Porter.
 
The guy didnt even have a tackle in the last game. Seems like ryan was only saying each team has their own injuries to worry about.
 
Im glad we are playing the jets this week, and they are talking trash. after how last week went. now our players have a real reason to not give up and take out there frustations out on a team we hate and is talking bad abouts us. so we beat them and get our path back on track. I love the way joey talked back to. no real smack, just play out we want to kick ur butts talk, and we are man enough to do it. GO DOLPHINS!!!!

there are better ways of going about saying things like that than, "boo hoo hoo." seriously, he needs to grow up.

I agree. Sparano is classy and he wouldn't have responded that way if asked the same question.

As a matter of fact he was asked that same question in his presser, and Sparano answered accordingly, with class.

Actually it sounds to me like he's setting up the excuses already if his team loses again. .."Oh we lost this Pro Bowl player and we lost this Pro Bowl player...so if we lose to the Dolphins it's because we didn't have all our Pro Bowl players..."

Sparano is a classy guy. IDK what the f*ck is up with Rex Ryan. The guy may know football, but he just seems like a complete retard. Every time I hear him talk I feel like my IQ dropped ten points.

I like JPeezy's comments. The guy is a beast on the field and won't back down from anyone. Him and JT WILL get to Sanchez this weekend. I envision another close Dolphin W in a hard hitting contest.

don know what the question was that rex was responding to but more like saying ok phns lost allen jets lost jenkins and leon, pro bowlers ... while will allen just avg cb
