Playing in the 4th preseason game is Maualuga’s goal because it would indicate that he’s on the road back to being a contributor.
“I just don’t want to show up to the first game and get thrown in there,” said Maualuga, who had 584 tackles, four sacks and seven interceptions in his eight seasons with the
Cincinnati Bengals. “The goal is to get some reps in Minnesota and see how things go from there, but at the end of the day it isn’t my decision.”
