From a drunken altercation at the Isla Vista college community next to UC Santa Barbara in California back in March. Misi appeared with his attorney at the Santa Barbara County Superior Court, and posted $10,000 bond. Reported by both the Santa Barbara Independent weekly newsmagazine, and ABC-TV affiliate KEYT Channel 3 in Santa Barbara.

Doubt we can get two 3rd round picks for him.

I hope the scout that evaluated MISIs makeup and character is not the same one evaluating our first round picks.

Sad case!

Release him yesterday, please?

Wasn't he one of the players drafted for his high characther, team captain in college and so on? maybe I am wrong, but...well, no doubt big disappointment

Bill Parcells fault. Clearly.

Very hard to make definitive evaluations of a player's character, I'm sure we all know friends, family or just people we know who have done stupid things that have shocked us. Biggest issue I have is he was picked in the 2nd round and has been a disappointment. Our 2nd round picks whether it was Ireland or Parcells picking them have been a disappointment, Thomas last year who obviously Ireland picked the jury is out on, but he does have some promise. Biggest questions to me are will he be more explosive this year if he has no injuries, and I think in college he had fumble issues, could be wrong.

Even if he escapes all charges, I've no idea how he's gonna avoid being charged with impersonating a professional football player, there's hardcore evidence all over last years film ;)

This sounds pretty bad...and stupid, but let's all remember that we live in the United States of America. Koa Misi is innocent until proven guilty. On the bright side, I guess we can take one positive out of this; based on the reports, he didn't get beat up like Eddie Moore.

He's guilty for that one. Trial by jury...

I do not get it. If you are innocent until proven guilty, how can you be held against your will until you prove you are innocent?

welcome to OBAMA-MERICA!!!

just how it is these dayz. ad-MITT it!!

[come on folks, how do i not take advantage of THAT opportunity?] :chuckle:

but outside of that little fact, i am not real familiar with KOA MISI'S case. not real clear what their basing his retention on.

maybe the judge is a finz fan and is doing us a solid and keeping him off the field?

i see an lb or 2 in the upcoming draft.

They won't release Misi, just like they didn't release Marshall after his stabbing incident last year, or release Merling, McDaniel or Starks after they got in trouble with the law. In the end Misi won't get jail time but will probably get punished by the NFL. Probably a one or two game suspension.

Though definitely not a good first impression with Philbin.

Uhhhh, except people have been jailed leading up to their trial for decades. How is that related to Obama in any way...?
