[h=3]While the quarterback battle between Matt Moore and Ryan Tannehill is snagging the headlines, the Dolphins wide receivers are also participating in a position duel that should go a long way in determining the offense’s identity.[/h]

Dolphins third-year receiver Marlon Moore sees it as a way the group can grow collectively.

“It's a beneficial process,” Moore said, “knowing you've got guys out here to compete, get work in and fight for reps, but also try to help each other at the same time.

“Whatever happens at the end of this whole situation, at least you know you came out fighting.”

It really is a unique situation for the team’s young receiving corps. With the release of Chad Johnson, the door has been opened for some new and familiar faces.

Spread the ball around (no more divas asking for the ball and then dropping, and breaking off routes)

he mentioned about every receiver except 7-11. fail.

Maybe HBO just thought it was a good story even though the guy really isn't very good. You have to wonder since he is still running with the 3rd team offense. But damn can that kid shake and move.

Has he dropped any catchable pass yet? I haven't heard of one but he also doesn't get much press time ... HK may change that this week. I really hope we get to see him with someone other than Devlin ... that would mean he would at least run against the Panther's 2nd string.

i remember matt moores pre season game last year and he and MARLON moore had this instant spark and chemistry.

the guy has all the tools you want in a wr, i just think he needs the time with the big boyz.

he does SOMETHING noticeable in every game and every practice, yet, he seems another of those who the staffs just keep in the depths and dont go out of their way to develope.

bet he would flourish, and right away in new england. bet on it. heck, you may just see it!!
