Dolphins Make Roster Moves

I look at this a different way, that means Dion Sims is moving along very nicely and clearly the #2 TE and it also means the other guys are stepping up in the 3rd spot.
 
Lynch got that back injury and never really came back. Shame

I think that Arthur Lynch is the first player to be drafted by Dennis Hickey as Dolphin GM to get cut.

It was also the first pick I questioned when it was announced having Clay & Sims I didn't see why Lynch was drafted he doesn't excel in anything.
 
wow didn't see that coming atleast not until the final cuts...
 
James Davidson - UFDA out of UTEP last year. Spent some time on Giants PS and got activated for a few games. Camp cover for Misi and Tripp maybe....


Surprised at Lynch being so underwhelming - I thought he would be a solid pro in the Fasano mould. Back injury may have robbed him of the athleticism he had, which wasn't league-leading to start.
 
Arthur Lynch was like a throwback pick. Shula in the final decade or so would annually waste a mid rounder on a stiff with virtually no athletic ability or upside. We nicely avoided that trend recently until Arthur Lynch. Even the adjusters couldn't do much with that pick, at least not the ones who had actually seen Lynch play.

I do thank him for dropping the key passes at the end of the Nebraska bowl game his senior year, including on 4th down deep in the red zone with the game on the line. Helped me win a money line wager.
