ITs funny how weve been mentioned with just about every high-priced Free Agent. Obviusly we cant sign everyone, but its still reassuring to know that our coaches are proactive looking for new talent.

I really didn't think we'd be persuing him that strongly. Granted he's a great football player. But I didn't think we'd be chasing a smaller guy. But hey, that's why they run the team and I simply follow it. :)

Weatherspoon is going to command a lot of money. A $13 million signing bonus is Drew Brees money. If we spend that much on a LB, then we may as well break the bank for Arrington, whose bigger and may fit better in the 3-4

Channing Crowder spent the entire season playing the other 3-4 ILB spot, and the 4-3 over/under Weakside linebacker position, which is virtually the exact same thing.

And for that kind of money I'd rather see us get Hodge(NO) or Arrington.Both are big LB's.
