Dolphins' Marshall talks to Flynn about teaming up in Miami

I love it,but people are thrashing BM on profootball.com.if Moore is still the starter, simply play better and make him eat crow! Don't get mad..get some balls and show everyone if you have the chance. You can't be mad at Marshall about this one though..

Love Brandon Marshall...but dawg, Moore and Flynn have both been career backups so far. if you are going to say some ish like that, how about saying it to P. Manning instead?

Flynn's career is not all that different from Rodgers' early career--both backing up really good starters in Green Bay for the first few years of their careers. That's not to say that Flynn will be as good as Rodgers, but it's a little early to call him a career backup. He hasn't had a chance to play yet.

I hope those who are now praising Marshall for his version of "caring" aren't formerly resentful SFL'ers who thought that the players would actually roll over for every competitor and ignore all the cheering and rooting against them.

Marshall's legal "tampering" merely reasserts that even players who are under-coached and under-performing do give a **** and do take such disrespect personally to the point that if they're good enough, as the Fins were, they'll rise up if nothing more than for pride and/or spite. That's why SFL was a delusional pipedream right from the get-go.

Matt Moore is probably calling Vernon Davis, Wes Welker, & a few other guys who don't drop the ball in a pinch.

Talking to Flynn is one thing, but yapping it to the press is another!!

If he would had started for more than a year at Lsu.we would be a little more comfortable, because he had to sit behind the biggest bust in NFL history!!Jamarcus Russell!! He has had a chance to work with all world qb developers and an all world qb...and he is goin to pretty much the same system..how can he fail?I will hold my breath still..

Brandon Marshall is a top 10, maybe top 5 WR. Even including his drops.

The same could not be said for Moore at his respective position. Thats the difference.
I agree that BM is a better WR than Moore is a QB but he's not perfect himself......if he thinks he can do better with Flynn then that's fine but trowing your QB under the boss like that is not good and it shows that he's still very ignorant.Regarless of the fact that Moore is not a probowler. BM would still not like being called out like that.

Ozzy rules!!

I don't have a problem with Marshall calling Flynn to try to convince him to come here, but if he's going to do that he should probably keep it to himself.

no one could have predicted that with a straight face would ever happen after week 8...no one...

Likewise I don't think anyone but the wishful thinkers could have predicted week 1 that realistically we'd be naught for 7 either. Bottom-line it was a pipedream that didn't even sustain 1/2 the season and ironically could well have had the reverse effect by galvanizing the players into trying that much harder to spite those rooting against them. That's Karma.

But be that as it may hoops, I have not been for Flynn based on his LSU lineage, draft position, the fact that he was actually drafted to be the backup to the backup and his limited, albeit impressive sampling against porous defensive backs.. except if we hired the guy who knew him best, and he wanted him -which was exactly the way it played out, at least so far. Now I'd be onboard if our coach does want him, knowing that he's staking a lot on Flynn's success.. EXCEPT if GB ends up coming to terms with Finley, signing him and then franchising Flynn. As a FA signing, yes, as a $14MM, probably 1st round pick 'pig in a poke" absolutely not.
