Quote:The Dolphins privately intend to study every available quarterback possibility that presents itself, and one such option will manifest in the coming days or weeks as the Patrick Ramsey situation plays out with the Washington Redskins.

Ramsey is expected to request a trade from the Redskins after losing his starting job to Mark Brunell this week. Ramsey requested a trade last year, but coach Joe Gibbs said he had no intention of making such a trade -- perhaps because he had no real options should Brunell get hurt.

But the Redskins have since selected former Auburn star Jason Campbell in the first round of this year's draft, and he seems to be Washington's quarterback of tomorrow. So Ramsey might be expendable.

it said in the news that he denied that he wanted a trade

The only thing he'll be traded for is another QB. Unless they want Rosenfels back, or Feeley, he ain't coming here

Send them FEEEEEEEELEY.............. and we want Ramsey and there 2nd round draft pick next year.......Does Spielman work for the Skins?

Whats he supposed to say? YES, TRADE ME! Then he looses fan support and what happens if Brunell gets hurt early and they need to put Ramsey back in?

You cant believe everything you hear on the news. Every player in the NFL wants to play. If Ramsey is 3rd string, he isnt playing.

Bottom line, this guy couldnt get it done with a decent Oline, a GREAT RB in Portis, and decent WRs in Washington. Washington's offense has been horrible lately and its tough to tell where the problem is. Most obvious solutions point to the QB and the coaching and playcalling.

I wouldnt trade anything for Pat Ramsey. Personally, I dont see him as an upgrade to even Rosenfels and he would be WAY behind the learning curve.

Play out the season with what we have and re-evaluate the QB situation when the season ends.

I'm honestly sick and tired of us going after other teams garbage. First we wanted Brunell. Then when that didn't happen, we went after Feeley. Look how great that turned out. Gus did great the first week, but who knows if he can keep it up. I have faith in him because I have faith in my team, but it doesn't make me confident.

Lets just get through this season and see what becomes available - something that might actually work in our new offensive system. Be it draft or trade for a quality QB, not some guy who can't beat Mark Brunell in the depth charts.

I don't know what the team would give up for him. Before the season and last year he had trade value, but right now I don't believe he has any.

I think Ramsey would look great in a dolphins uniform with the supporting cast we have here.

This is the last year of his contract. After that, we will be able to have him for almost nothing.

Since it's too late for him to come here and learn the playbook and be a contributor this year. Let's wait the end of the year and get him as a FA.... Or if the skins want to get rid of him I would not give them more that a 5th round pick.
