Although he hasnt practiced all week due to having some bruised ribs, LT says he'll be starting for SD this weekend. He has some other bumps and bruises as well that may make him more vulnerable this week.

Sorry if its been posted...thought I'd pass on the news I read in a local rag here in So Cal.

After reading some qoutes I can tell you Dolfans this much...we wont be sneaking up on the Chargers. They know its a vital game for their playoff hops and they know we have a quality team when we put it together based on their comments.

I knew he had the banged up ribs but I didnt know it was bad enough to hold him out of practice completly. Is that what you are saying, that he didnt practice at all? Or that they just gave him a red jersy?

Well, my fantasy team wants him to play. But I personally don't because I think he would tear up our D. But this is good news for us.

we just need jason taylor to hit in hard in the ribs and that will solve the LT problem.

dont know how to solve gates problem (he is very good) and gus problem (he is bad)

LT might be injured right now, but I bet ya that he will play like he was 100 percent Sunday. LT is a very tough guy and I'm sure he can overcome this injury.

A banged up LT is still a major threat.

Why am i one of the few people not scared of LT?

We can stop him, in case you guys forgot we have a guy named Zach Thomas who reads running plays better than any other LB in the NFL

The newspaper said he had not practiced a down all week, and so someone questioned him on whether or not he'd actually play. He said the game was too important "Not to play" and that he'd be there ready to go. Then the story went on to mention 2-3 injuries he's suffering from. It said he left last weeks game in the 2nd Qrt (?) due to his ribs and didnt return.
I know this much, as far as pain goes, ribs are one of the harder injuries to play with as a QB or RB. This close to the playoffs, if they think they can beat us without him he may not play.

He returned in the second half last week

If you're not scared of LT, you must not be watching close enough.

He'll play this week but what I would take from it is that they don't have the liberty to give him 30 carries or something even if he seems to be doing damage...so it is at least partial good news.

I don't expect his running to be affected by the injury. Generally rib injuries just result in a propensity to fumble because of the flack vest.

Fear is what makes you unsuccessful

If our players go into the game going 'OMG LT HOW DO WE STOP HIM'

we will get our ***** tourched all day

if you go in with the attitude that you just have to play your game and you can stop him, then you will have success, thats the way life is

Overrated. If they go in fearing him they are likely to get torched. If they go in not fearing him they're still likely to get torched. Fear or the absence of it, in reality, plays very little role in these things.

I read an article that quoted lt as saying that marty was nice enough to give him a day off, he isnt that hurt, he just got a sucker shot at the bottom of the pile from a raider, what a surprise
