Right- thats why I figured. Because if it was just sort of "maybe.. looking into it.. perhaps.. who knows", it probably wouldnt have been leaked to the media. And if so, they probably wouldnt put it in the paper at all.
 
Two things... Kffl doesn't recognize his name in a search I did this afternoon... PFT announced that he was signed... without saying who was cut to make room for him.

OFF TOPIC... If Sage becomes the starter I nominate "Sage the Rage", to be his nick.
 
Good pick-up if we sign him. I was impressed with him in the jaguars game.
 
It means Jason Cole saw him being tried out today
and assumed he was signed.

I prefer Parsley Sage Rosemary and Thyme...

The only thing disturbing about Thomas, is that in 75 games & 7 starts over 5 seasons, with much of it as the Jags' nickel back, he has a big fat zero interceptions. It seems like in that length of time that a DB who has so often been on the field in passing situations would have at least one by accident.
 
Hes below average if he's been cut by Jacksonville. They have a weak secondary to begin with

Jacksonville as a team, only learned how to intercept the ball last year. They're new to it.
