Remember the Lawyer Milloy signing by the Buffalo Bills in 2003?

New England Patriots and coach Bill Belichick cut
Milloy just before the regular season. The Bills -- New England's Week 1
opponent -- swooped in, quickly signed the safety, and Milloy helped pound the
Patriots, 31-0.

Could history repeat itself eight years later with
another solid safety: Brandon Meriweather? I think it's worth a shot for
the Miami
Dolphins
. Miami will be underdogs against the Patriots on "Monday
Night Football

headcase. prime time for jets!

problem is, money money money money!

hey, thinking Yeatman for TE cut from Pats. they want to bring him back for PS. I think this would hurt BB's feelings more if you ask me.

former lacrosse player who is raw but they say he picked things up nicely and good size.

If I remember correctly, the Patriots kicked the snot out of the Bills in the second game.

The exact opposite. Bills won by a ridiculous amount and Tom Jackson declared boldly that the Patriots locker room hate their coach.

And then the Patriots went on to win the Super Bowl.

and the pats faithful look to sergio brown to save the day. b marshall lickin chops.

that was the old days as far as i am concerned. this is a new era.

No, I thought Mr Day was right, so looked it up. In week 17, Pats killed the Bills 31-0 and Brady and 4 TD passes to finish 14-2. I do remember Jackson saying that after the 1st game though CK. Pats FO and staff got killed locally for releasing Malloy. Of course 14-2 and a Superbowl tends to make people forget such things.

I see Larry Izzo had a pick in this game. Hated we didn't keep that guy as a ST leader.

Oh my bad I didn't see him say "in the second game".

Yeah the Pats repaid the favor in the second game. But in that first game the Pats came out ultra-flat, the Bills were fired up, and Tom Jackson swore that the Patriots locker room had completely turned on Bill Belichick because they loved Lawyer Milloy so much.

Meriweather was an awful player last year, and he's an awful human being. We're better off without him on and off the field.
