that was the plan...fabulous day by our FO...resign worthless crap like Merling and Murtha, trade our only offensive skill player worth a damn, and now we're in talks with our 3rd RB, a guy who got cut midseason...which one of us can do ireland's job better...hell ill do it for free as long as i can sleep in the facility...
 
im shocked/pissed at the marshall deal with no solution for the glaring whole at the number 1 wr spot now.
 
I can sleep better at night, knowing we have Steve Slaton on the team. What will he cost? Another million or two like Merling and that other stiff, Murtha.
 
I love how we speant x amount of years trying to find a number 1 WR....now that we found one we piss him away for nothing. This team is a joke.

Slaton is absolutely worthless. He brings nothing to the table. He doesn't have the speed and quickness he once had and he fumbles and he has no power running ability.

I'd rather take a chance on a couple undrafted rookie free agents.
