OK I'll throw my 2 cents in...

At #9 IMHO I do not see an offensive guy which is the way i think we have to go that blows me away other than Adrian Peterson that potentially could be available...but it is way early and things change but as of now...also if AP is available and slips that far, I would think that G.Bay at # 16 might give a 1 and 2 to move up to grab him given that is a huge need and he is has to be worthy in some teams books at #9...is G. Bay,,,who knows....So...here are my thoughts on yet another guess....

#1 (9) Ted Ginn...a slight reach but IMHO the only offensive guy there of near that value.
#2 Tony Ugoh ot Arkansas...slips a bit because of some nagging type injury concerns but has all the tools..alot like M. McNiel last year...
#3 Kevin Kolb, qb Houston.
#4 Tavarious Bain cb, Hampton...UM transfer with blazing speed and small school corners hit more than other SS position players
#6 Matt Muncey lb Ohio..tackling machine, a little on the short side but is 240 and can play inside or out.
#7 Ryan Moore...great talent with all kinds of character questions,,worth a 7....

OR

#1 (16) Ted Ginn..more of where IMHO he belongs.
#2 Ugoh
#2 Brandon Siler, lb Florida
#3 Kevin Kolb qb Houston
#4 Bain
#6 CJ Ah You de Oklahoma
#7 Moore

At this point it is all in fun and a guess anyway.....

I like your 2nd & 4th picks. I didn't know Bain was a UM transfer. He has to put on more weight (don't know if he has the frame), but I like him at that spot.

If we don't resign Wes Welker, then that might dictate who we draft and Ginn Jr. would be an excellant replacement. If we resign Welker, then expect us to go defense. TRading down and getting an extra 2nd round pick would be better for our team as we have many holes to fill

Ginn at #9 is an incredible reach and gamble. He is fast but that is about it. His route running skills are sub par. If he blows it up at the combine running his 40 then maybe someone will take a chance at him that high but i hope it isn't us.

We just spent a #2 pick on a RB and if Ricky comes back I doubt we draft another RB with a top ten 1st rd pick.

1st pick could depend allot on who the coach is. Offensive minded (Ginn or Jarrett) or Defensive minded (CB, S or DL).

Love the Ginn and Kolb picks and while I don't know much about Ugoh and Bain I like what I have read about them. They also would be the two positions we should be looking at. If Moore is there in the 7th he would be a great pick, but I don't see him falling that far even with the lack of playing time and character issues.

if adrain peterson falls to us he would be a better pick than ginn

Genius. And if Ricky comes back we can have a 3 headed monster in the backfield to run behind a shambes of an Oline and a defense that has no Dline and holes in the LB corps.

We could run the wishbone and option with Ricky, Ronnie, and Adrian. If you arrange the first letters in their first name, we can call them RAR, (get it, Ricky, Adrian, Ronnie) and we can yell RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR at opposing teams and sound like lions and scare them. Miami will go 16-0WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTOMGLOLWTFBBQ!

Makes more sense than reaching for Ted Ginn, who will speed past CBs, drop the pass, get hurt, get snapped in half, and that is because Daunte Culpepper had to fling up because he had pressure in the backfield after 1.5 seconds all because WE NEEDED THAT PLAYMAKER IN A DOLPHINS UNIFORM WOO HOO BABY

But why draft Adrian Peterson. We already have one great young back (Brown), a great veteran back (Williams), and one great back-up (Morris).

finally somebody relizes that you need more than speed to be a 1st round pick. Ginn wasn't even that great throughout his Ohio State career.
