Round 1=#1-Chris Long-Defensive End/Line Backer of Virgina(we need some pass rushers that can help contribute with Jason Taylor...and he fits our 3-4 defense)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round 2(Patriots forfeited their 32,we move in next)=#32-Dominque Rodgers Cromartie-Corner Back of Tennesse State(we need a Db who can come and make an immediate impact on our team,he is the cousin of Pro-Bowler Antonio Cromartie,he is 6'2",nice weight, and runs a blazing 4.3 in the 40 yrd.,he would be our best DB we will draft since Partrick Surtain, and he can hawk the ball like no other, very athletic)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round 2=#56(from SD)-Shawn Crable-Line Backer of Michigan(he is 6'5",over 240,mostly compared to a Shawn Merrian-type of LineBacker,he runs a 4.55 one of the fastest LB's 40 yds. time,we all know Bill Parcells loves BIG linebackers...he also said he wanted to bring them in,he is strong, and would make a awesome team pass rush with Crable,Long and Taylor,he is very aggressive and can play great coverage and a great blitzer...he would look great in the Dolphin teal and orange uniform)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round 3=#65-Joe Flacco-Quater Back od Delaware(he has the strongest arm of the prospects in the draft,he is mobile, can break tackles, can pick up the needed yard when neccessary, has been shownt a lot of attention from Ireland,he is very accurate, the only thing that is a question mark is his decision making,he could be better at readign coverages faster, but he is a leader and has the confidence teams look for in their QB)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round 4=#95-Adrian Arrington-Wide Receiver of Michigan(he is 6'3",he is over 200 lbs.,he can move, block, run good routes,he doesnt have as good as hands of Larry Fitzgerald, but other than that he is a solid comparison, could be a litle faster than Larry, and he was great awarness,we will steal him in the 3rd round,we need a WR at the 3rd slot,he has the potential to move into the ranks of a number 1 option,as long as he is surrounded with talent that can elvate his game)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round 6=#127-Martellus Bennett-Tight End of Texas A&M(he's intimidating size of 6'7",well over 250 lbs. will know Bill Parcells out of his seat,we need a tight end who could block, and he would winout over any tight end we have on our current roster,i personally beleive he could start after a couple games, just as Greg Olson did, because in our roster, anyone we bring in who looks impressive can take the starting role instantly,he would help us out nicely)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Round 7=#191-Jamar Adams-Safety of Michigan(he is an excellant tackler, great timed speed at 4.5,he is strong and tough, will add depth at on our safeties which HAS to be increased, has to work on his ball hawking skills, but other than that his decision making could be better,he takes too many chances trying to play the player, and not the ball, but he would be nice to assist Jason Allen at the FS position
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
I think we will pick up some offensive linemen in FA,because our line was already good,we just need some peopel to come in and impact immidiately, here is what i see our line next year...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
LT-Flozell Adams/or Ben Roesenthal(he is already on our roster, but not signed through 08)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
LG-Reuben Brown/or Alan Faneca(i like Faneca more, but if he is asking too much,Reuben will be the opposite, and he is just a notch below Faneca
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
C-Samson Satele(they said that they might move him,but he played this position so well, why mess that up?)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
RG-Rex Hadnot(if doesnt re-sign we will pick up Ryan Lilja/Flyod Womack/Jake Scott)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
RT-Vernon Carey(i hate the fact that we keep moving him, keep him in or spot,or you will throw his game off,he is good at RT)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Our D-Line:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
RE-Jason Taylor
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
NT-Shaun Rodgers(we pick him up in a LATE draft pick like 4 or lower ill be okay with,or a trade for our first overall for Lions first,2nd and Roy Williams,or even better we snag him in FA
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
LE/LB-Terrell Suggs(we have enough money to pick him up in FA,if he resigns though..which i think he will,we would get Mike Rucker or McCray from the Jags)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
ROLB-Shawn Crable(Bill Parcells WILL NOT pass up on his dream Line Backer in the draft)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
MLB-Zach Thomas(we need him as much as he needs us)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
LOLB-Joey Porter(he is comeing into our defense, will make a bigger impact than he did in his debut year as a dolphins LB)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
CB-Asanta Samuels(i think he would like to play for his hometown, and he would get the chance to,but if he is OverDoing his price,we mostly like will go after Marcus Trufant,Dominque Foxworth or Drayton Florence)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
CB-Will Allen(he had a solid year,i guess he proved his worth in MIA,but if MIA deals him because of the money,i wouldnt be surprised, but in all,i wouldnt be mad if he was back for us next year)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------3rd CB-Dominque Rodgers Cromartie(everyone loves this man,and his stock rise probably rising the most of all the DB's in the draft,he moved from the mid-round into the 2 or 3rd round cosideration,he will takeover for us after a year or two in Wills postion, because Will is 30 years old,and his contrace ends in two years so,i doubt we will sign him back with Cromartie on our roster
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
FS-Jason Allen(he desevers the starting job,he was the most solid DB on our team behind Will Allen,he will get the job)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
SS-Gibril Wilson(he is a really, really great hitter for a DB,on of the leagues best,he isnt that fast, but he cant stay with most receivers because he plays safety,i would LOVE to have this guy in FA.....other possibilities are Ken Hamlin, who i like too,and Mike Doss)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

WOW...Way too many free agents on that list of starters...Pretty unrealistic...Parcells will be going for youth...All those free agents would get the Fins in to cap trouble in a hurry...Im ok with your mock

And Gibril Wilson was the only DB on the Giants who even seemed to be able to hang with Randy Moss(ie didn't embarrass himself). I think he could cover most recievers.

I can't fault your desire to see the Dolphins instantly compete, but this team does not have 100 million in cap space.

I like Chris Long and all signs point to him. He has a tremendous football background and of course the Parcells-Al Groh connection.

"That daggone Long guy, Howard's son. I wish he had twins and sent one our way. Boy is his good. He puts on a clinic every time he plays. Every snap is a clinic. He plays the game like it's suppose to be played."
– Chuck Amato, as head coach at NC State in 2006
