Dolphins moving from 3-4 to pressure-based 4-3 defense

this crap is old news(moving to a 4-3). some dude named enduro told you that months ago. He even told you who miami was going to draft for the last 2 years #1. I may have some more off season breaking news soon. stay tuned.

You also said that Miami was trading up to #7 for Tannehill, no?

Either way, I look forward to your news. Nobody may give you the respect you deserve but I actually can't wait to hear what you've got to say.

you got to admit, it looked like we were certainly being pushed to do just that.

there was a big sigh of releif when cleveland moved up to get richardson. things fell into place after that.

Amen to that. You've got me checking the site everyday now waiting for your news haha

Pittsburgh's defense allowed 12.5 pts per game the last 10 games of last season
San Francisco allowed 13.2 pts average the last 10 games of the season
Houston allowed 15.4 pts the last 10 games

You're right but one supporting factor is that all three were off the field more than we were. In terms of time-of-possession Pittsburgh was #1, Houston was #2, and San Francisco was #6. We weren't bad at #12 but I bet that we would have melted less on defense if the offense would've helped on their side more.

I noticed none of you are mentioning any of the young dl other than Vernon. I think a kid like Smith might surprise, and I would add Westerman to that group as well. I am real interested to see what the kids from Texas and Pitt do. All the young guys were brought in with this defense in mind. Anyone care to share you view of the young guys in general (fodder vs real chance)?

i'm not sure moving odrick outside to end on first and second down is the best way to take advantage of his talents...i think he's better in a phone booth using his quickness off the ball and hand strength to shoot gaps and wreak havoc in the backfield...that said with what we have we have no choice...i could see odrick wearing down and not being as effective when he shifts inside to rush in the nickle..better figure out a rotation...

Odrick appears to have really gotten bigger from two years ago. If he continues to improve his size/strength, I could see him moving inside and possibly replacing Starks in a few years.
