Dolphins Must Replace These 5 Players in 2018

Parker's not going anywhere. He's still on his rookie contract. Grant's spot is a waste. He's done nothing this year on special teams or offense. Pouncey needs to go. James...if we can re-sign him for cheap I'd bring him back...can't see replacing 4 of the 5 O-lineman in one season. Too much money (that we won't have) and too many draft picks when we have other issues that need to be addressed. Thomas is too freakin soft more my taste. He needs to go.
 
Didn't read the article, but I don't agree on Parker. The guy is a huge talent but he's soft and not a team player. Someone needs to get in his face and tell him to man up and stop milking his injuries. If that doesn't happen, theb maybe you let him go. I feel like he is just immature, and that can improve.
 
Pouncey should have been gone 2 seasons ago.

Grant isn’t bright, too little and too weak. Brings nothing to the table that’s worth taking up a roster spot.

I’m tired of waiting on Parker. He either has it or he doesn’t. He clearly doesn’t have it.

Thomas is washed up. Soft, Slow, out of shape. A bad combination in any sport. He should be cut ASAP.

James is average, not playing like a 1st rd pick. More like a 4th rounder. He’s getting paid too much to be only slightly above average once every 5 game so or so .
 
That seems a little knee-jerk, following a 40-0 loss.

For example, what do you gain from replacing Grant? He has little or no role on the team.

Second, how does this person know Parker's injury isn't legitimate? The mere speculation that it isn't is enough to jettison a player with a very high ceiling, who plays an important position, and who comes cheap at the present time?

Thomas and James I can agree with, the former because he's simply a bad player, and the latter because his performance won't justify his future salary.

Pouncey I can agree with because he's simply done.
 
A list like this has to include mccain he is aweful... besides the TD did you see the effort on tackling that RB... I puked in my mouth.
 
Boy do we need a real live NFL tight end. What the hell has Gray done to Gase to deserve not being used at all
 
We need coaches that can get these players prepped and ready to play.

We need an oline coach that can teach them how to block and be able to groom younger players for starting roles.

We need WR coaches that can fix the drop issues and teach them proper route running. Not to mention how to run north-south after the catch.

We need a new friggin playbook.

We need to play a defensive scheme that doesnt play as scared as our offense. STOP giving away the middle of the field and easy yards to TEs and RBs on screen plays.

Players and talent level arent the problem, its the coaching staff.

You dont lose 40-0 because of those 5 players. You lose 40-0 because of incompetent coaching.
 
James is a fine right tackle. You're hustling backwards if you're looking to get rid of him. The Tackles will be fine if Tunsil gets up to speed. The bargain bin guards are the issue.
 
Disagree with James and Parker, James if he resign a team friendly deal and DVP cause frankly he greatly missed last night. This sideline routes that Landry, Grant, and Caroo ran very ineffectively. DVP turns those into TD and chunk yardage.

Pouncey, Thomas, and Grant can go.
 
Grant needs to be given an opportunity to do what he does best whatever that is I'm not the coach. Let him fail after given an opportunity and then consider him a bust. Until then it's a revolving door vicious cycle of ineptness by the coaching staff.
 
ummm DVP isn't going anywhere..who are we to say he is milking his injuries? theres no way to accurately say that, so enough with that BS...kid has talent, but does have proneness to injury so he has to work through that and be consistent
Also feel until we have a solid replacement for James, can't cut him loose...our O line needs everyone we can get...Pouncey though will be tough, if he can play the rest of the season I say keep him otherwise cut him loose
Gotta be realistic here folks
