Pouncey has the mobility to pull for sweeps. This would be a nice addition.
I still think we should shop the Steelers, Jets, and Raven trash pile for serviceable veterans once the final cuts are done. We have to replace Berger, Carey, and Murtha. Time for some new blood.

Langer I think that's every one here's line of choice if we signed Gurode. I would be happy with that. I don't understand the whole leaving Garner to be the tool of all trades. Give this guy the starting RT gig. I think he runs with it and we start running on the right side with him and Richie and Pouncey pulling to get the first LB, dan Bush is in the secondary who knows what can happen then. Sorry a little dream there

Murtha has improved, but when he gets bull rushed by smaller DE's, that is not a good sign. I am all for developing players, but this guy may not have the physical tools.

Pouncey at LG would give us a mobile LG to pull for sweeps. Incognito does a fair job, but he is lumbering.
Pouncey would be perfect there this season...IMHO
 
Holy crap, we're two weeks away from our first game and we're talking about the possibility of 4/5's of our OL either changing positions or new players. Not a good sign.
 
Not a good sign if we leave all the crap playing out of position as well. Gurode domino if it falls to us allows us to move players into position that may suit them better. I'm all for continuity but if we get better by moving guys now with one signing lets make it happen.

I am feeling the dream. This would be a decent line IMHO.

It is not too late. The line up we are faced with without changes will suck for the whole season.
Carey is lame and uninspired. Colombo is not a good player. We have no choice.
I am all for making the changes now and getting on with it.
Maybe this last minute OL roster churn was planned by Ireland? Brilliant!!

This is my fear. Because Pouncey was a first rounder and he was drafted to play center, we wont move him. I just hope they leave their pride at the door and get Andre and move Pouncey to LG and move Incognito to RG. We need a pulling guard and Carey is simply too fat to move quick enough to pull, and Incognito just isn't a good puller. On top of that, I would love to see Gurode move someone out of the way on the goal line so we can punch the ball in (Haynesworth comes to mind after watching that video... Patriots - Week 1)

I think if we signed 5 time pro bowler it would help with swallowing pride as well as seeing how badly our right side is getting abused on replay this week. Richie instantly helps the right side as does a pulling LG named Pouncey.
 
I kinda like the idea getting Long back in there, moving Pouncey to LG, Signing Gurode, Incognito at RG and moving Murtha to RT and let him battle with Carey.
 
Gurode and Haynesworth have a history (Hayneworth stomped on his head). Hire him for the entertainment factor two games this year. I'd buy a ticket.
