Bob Tompkins, of The Town Talk, reports <A href="http://www.kffl.com/team/17/nfl">Green Bay Packers QB Craig Nall said he would be interested in competing for the Miami Dolphins' starting quarterback position. Dolphins head coach Nick Saban was Nall's coach at Louisiana State before Nall left out of frustration due to lack of playing time and transferred to Northwestern State.
 
After thinking long and hard on the subject, I would be willing to compete for the quarterback position on the Miami Dolphins. I have been a Miami Dolphins fan all of my life, and I think it may be time to join the team.
 
I want to be the 3rd string emergency back up. I want $1 million a year to carry a clipboard.

You've consulted with your wife and family, and you feel you have more to accomplish than just being a fan.

The salary doesn't hurt, either.

After thinking long and hard, I decided to become the youngest player every try out for an NFL team, ever.

Tell that to Ray Lucas. $1m/year is a pittance for the beating he took, physically, emotionally, etc etc
 
Nothing wrong with him showing interest who knows he could be the second coming of Frerotte.

You know, I'm interested in being Jessica Alba's husband.
 
I remember him playing very well in the preseason a couple seasons ago. I think most 3rd string guys wouldn't mind competing for a starting job, so really I don't think it's much of a story.
