It just doesn't seem we attack! We need alot of blitzing. If we do attack
the opposing teams seem to stop us. I want punish like the Steelers, Eagles, Jets as of late!

Paul Pasqualoni better get some packages together. Or betyter yet Sparano needs to watch T-Rex and the Jets! Or we are screwed.

I agree completely. Holding the Falcons offense to 19 points when they only started on like, their own measely 45 yard line every drive was absolutely pathetic. Our defense just lost us that game. We need a real defense. You know, one like the EAGLES! Now THEY are good! Man I should talk football with you more often, why don't you call me sometime? :callme:

The same eagle D that gave up 48 pts at home? I think not. I guarantee NO won't score 40+ when they come to MIA.

Hopefully our run defense will be able to handle the Colts so we can focus more attention on limiting their passing game.

Landshark Stadium has to be as loud as possible on every defensive down. This is our house Dolfans, dont let colt ******* take it over...OUR HOUSE

secondary is only part that needed work i think and being that one is a FA and the other two are rookies all they need is experance. Keep your eye on smith, future pro bowler for years to come and vontae aint bad either just needs time to pan out.

Careful with the guarantees. I watched NO picked apart Philly all day today and it was scary. Brees at this point could potentially be considered a better QB than even Brady (given that Tommyboy gets Moss/Welker/Galloway and Brees has Colston/Moore/Shockey). I think that many of the quick timing routes NO featured today could give Miami a lot of trouble, and we have to consider any matchup issues that Shockey (if healthy) would present the Phins. I really hope Miami beats the hell out of New Orleans, but it really wouldn't shock me to see NO put up 40 plus on us. If we play sloppy football against the Saints like we did against Atlanta, 40 points could be a real possibility.

What this team needs is royal fire eating defensive line the rest will deveope if we get the line fixed.

Not arguing with your statement but MIA has only given up 40+pts to non divisional opponents twice since 2002 (72 games)

I agree somewhat with the topic creator, we have some of the most simplistic blitz schemes I've ever seen.

we blitzed a ton the first game and got consistent pressure on ryan basically all game. we could get more creative though.

I don't know why you need to get too creative when you are getting pressure with "simple blitzes". Not that I am against more blitzing, I just don't think that is a problem right now.
