Yeremiah Bell is on pace to lead the team in tackles.
If the Dolphins make the playoffs, Bell’s pass break-up on the Seahawks’ 2-point conversion will go down as one of the biggest plays of the season.
With 71 tackles, three forced fumbles and seven passes defensed, Bell could be headed to Honolulu.
“He’s literally having a Pro Bowl season,” agent Drew Rosenhaus said. “I’m not just saying it because he’s my client. When’s the last time you saw a safety make so many plays?”
But Bell’s history of injury, including a ruptured Achilles that ended last season, seems to be hard to ignore as the Dolphins consider inking Bell to new deal. He signed a one-year deal for $1.45 million in March.
