It could be a minor snag, it could be major. Who knows? Rosenhaus is a tough negotiator.

Yeremiah Bell is on pace to lead the team in tackles.

If the Dolphins make the playoffs, Bell’s pass break-up on the Seahawks’ 2-point conversion will go down as one of the biggest plays of the season.

With 71 tackles, three forced fumbles and seven passes defensed, Bell could be headed to Honolulu.

“He’s literally having a Pro Bowl season,” agent Drew Rosenhaus said. “I’m not just saying it because he’s my client. When’s the last time you saw a safety make so many plays?”

But Bell’s history of injury, including a ruptured Achilles that ended last season, seems to be hard to ignore as the Dolphins consider inking Bell to new deal. He signed a one-year deal for $1.45 million in March.

"I'm not saying it because he's my client" :sidelol:

Kiss your mother with that mouth?

I hope he's not a follower of any Western religion, because that there is a bald faced, no-account LIE!

That said....*Crap!*...That is the one guy other than Will Allen in the secondary I like. I hope Drew doesn't try to make us overpay, because, Bell can walk if he want's top Safety money.

I love YB but there's no way I'd be ready to give him top safety money (assuming that's what Drew is asking for him).

That being said he's done a tremendous job and if we get to the playoffs, he'll be a huge reason why. He deserves a huge pay raise, just not top safety moola.

they should be able to come up with something thats fair, but let's wait and see if he makes it through 16 games first.

Hey GB - just a question about your Sig - Did you actually know Jim Jensen? I only ask because I used to love the grit he used to play with. He was one of my favorite players growin up. But I think the date on the unsung hero award is incorrect. Cool sig, though.

As far as Bell goes, I doubt he will command top tier money. Drew will do whatever he can to get whatever he can, but GM's respect this guy at the end of the day because he will get things done. And he's a Fin fan to boot, so that doesn't hurt.

Man I really like Bell, and hope they can get a deal done. I just dont know if he is worth top safety money because he is so injury prone, but if we dont sign him back I really think we got to go safety in the first round because we wont have anyone good back there.

I am no relation to, nor have I met "Crash". He's simply my hero, even at age 41 and a model of how to play the game. He's a consumate roster multiplier, and, just laid his heart, guts and, blood on the field every single play. Crash is Miami Dolphins football to me.:hi5:

ETA; The RIP is for his father, Karl. The Unsung Hero is sourced from the Miami Dolphins website. If I got it wrong, show me and I'll change it. Thanks for the heads up at any rate. I'll double check.

Ow yeah I didnt even think about that. If I was him I would get all my good clients to sign with Miami:hi5:

I really like Bell. However, if he wants top safety money, he better start picking the ball off.

I forgot Drool was his client... I HATE that guy with every sense and passion of the word hate.

I love the intensity that YB plays with and I think he's a very good safety, but his inability to make interceptions is what stops him from getting into that next level of elite safeties in the league.

What I came across was that a deal will get done, even though that the article title say it is not close. Drew says Bell wants to stay here, so that it is great.

Anyone can have ONE good season. YB hasn't really shown a lot of consistency YET. Lets see how he does the last 6 games before we offer him Champ Bailey money.
