Dolphins not interested in Matt Flynn anymore

Well god damnit if that was true, you don't trade Marshall without guaranteeing Manning is going to be in Miami. If they traded Marshall in the hopes that Manning will say "Hey that's cool, I might join them now", then yes, this front office is run by a bunch of Forrest Gump wannabe tools.

yes...we agree. But we have common sense.

i cant see the dolphins publicaly not being interested in flynn. they want to drive the price up for other AFC teams, like cleveland.

No but what evidence do we have that a guy who was a 6th round pick and a career backup so far is going to be any better than Moore who at least produced and brought in 6-3?

Moore is still under contract this year and his deal seems a lot more of a bargain than giving 60 million to Flynn.

Actually with similar backgrounds and draft oversights from college programs that have not produced much NFL success, some parallels between Flynn and Moore can be drawn. Early on, Moore might have been more impressive going 2-1 for a 7-9 Carolina team and then going 4-1 for a team that without him would not have finished 8-8. IMO getting more out of less is at least as impressive as Flynn's high flying 2 games for a high flying offense. And actually, Moore's 09 game against the Favre's playoff bound Vikes was more impressive than Flynn's vs the Pats. Not saying Flynn won't turn out to be a stud, but not discounting the real possibility that he'll also turn into the "career backup" that some are labeling Moore as.

Manning to Miami is a reality. We just made space for him, Garcon, Clark, Tamme, or Wayne........all free agents. Philbin will trade down in the draft to stock pile picks and get Tannehill later to be Manning's succesor. If this happens and we move to the middle/late 1st round and pick up another 2nd rounder too.......I would be happy.

Marshall was a great reciever, but underperformed for his contract and he dropped too many balls this past season. I would have liked to see at least a 2nd rounder and a 3rd for him though.

Check your stats, Moore was 6-7.

Perhaps you should check yours.. Moore was 6-6 as a starter, but over the last 9 games w/o TC 1st team reps, he was 6-3 compared to Sanchez's 5-4 and Ryan's 6-3 with the support of stronger teams.

Im just glad they are not interested in Flynn...I never wanted Flynn all along

With the QB class coming next year you pick your QB to be groomed next year and focus on PM or Flynn leading the team this year - Tanny is not worthy of a first he is a developmental spect

I still am not getting my Hopes up for Manning. This may just mean they are gonna sign a Tackle and cant afford the QB and will hope that Tannenhill will be thier at 8 and no one trade up for him.

Marshall didnt want to restructure, and Miami couldnt potentially sign Peyton with Marshall making over $11M......makes sense, we'll see

It could just mean that Philbin doesn't believe Flynn is worth anywhere near what his agent is asking...

didnt we see a thread and article saying we were more into Tannehill?
