Dolphins not out of Manning Race according to yahoo

I was so psyched when the Marshall deal went down yesterday. Now I am just over it. We will all find out soon. Its a shame what the media has become. But what can you expect from the general public in this country...
 
I don't want to be the voice of optimism ( and ruin our simmering hatred which will boil over soon) but you know Peyton was told about the Brandon incident because the Dolphins knew at that point they were going to get rid of him. Would the Dolphins really not tell Peyton and have him find out in the news a day later and still expect to be in the mix? obviously this is something Peyton was informed about and they had a plan in place that didn't totally scare Manning away. The Dolphins at this very moment still feel they have a chance and have only told Flynn to wait basically.

So, lets see what happens , I'm not optimistic that we will land Manning but I do think we are not getting the whole story, so stranger things have happened. Lets see what happens. . .
 
I think it will be Titans or Dolphins, I just can't see him with the Broncos because of other intangibles. Peyton has said nothing by the way, everything and I mean everything you've heard "reported" is pure speculation.

I remember when I was an optimistic Dolfan.......dont ever lose that! Now I will say this....of course Manning isnt coming, we're the new Miami Dolphins.....you know the team that always publicly admits a passionate infatuation for a person only to have that person bend us over a chair, hook up with our nemesis and not call us again. And this isnt me being that guy and this is no bash of you at all my friend, but this is who we are now. Forever rebuilding since 1999
 
This guy has a place in miami and couldnt drive an hour up to davie to check out the facility. Flew our whole staff over to Indy just to meet with him. Sorry, he's not coming here.

Free-agent QB Peyton Manning (Colts) has not eliminated any of the teams with which he has previously met - the Denver Broncos, Arizona Cardinals, or Miami Dolphins, according to sources, nor has he closed the door on possibly meeting with other teams. Manning has not worked out for the teams at these meetings, but is willing to work out for teams he considers as serious finalists.

but he's not rehabing in South Florida and he needed to get back to rehab, not hard to understand.
