Dolphins Not trading JT...for now

Well Day 1 came and went without JT's name being mentioned in any trade. I doubt the Dolphins will settle for a 3rd round, pick, even if it's two of them. However 3 or 4 weeks into the 2008 season, you know that there will be a playoff contender that will realize that they need a pass rusher, and will be willing to give up that 1st round pick for JT.
So for now, he's a Dolphin...but his days are defintely numbered.

I think if you get offered to mid-high 3rd round picks you HAVE to take them....there's so much quality on the board right now!

RB is now a position of need for us, Booker is gone, Ronnie is coming off an ACL and Ricky who's what...31? He has nothing left.

Kevin Smith or Jamaal Charles with the first of the third...then with 2 others we could get a receiver like Doucet and a CB like King.

JT is gone even if they only get a 3rd rounder for him. Too much damaged has been done by trying to shop him.

If we are counting on Cobbs if Ronnie or Ricky aren't healthy/around, we are in a world of hurt.

I'm still shocked we moved Booker for a 4th. He's not a starter but he was great the last 5 games and thought he could have played that Dave Meggett type role in the Parcells offense.
