One of the biggest improvements this year has been the Offensive Line to enable Miami to be the 4th most productive rushing offense in the NFL. Brandon Albert was a top class acquisition but the additions of seasoned veterans in Satele and Colledge have helped, as well. Effectively, replacing some major turds with high character productive players. Pouncey will just get better as he plays more and he is showing up as more of a team leader with better guys around him. Juwuan James was a good Draft pick and it looks like he should make a good contribution for many years.
Full marks to the new coaching staff, John Benton and his assistant coach, Jack Bicknell Jr for turning our biggest problem into a strength. They are a lot better than Jim Turner and it's pretty obvious.
Dennis Hickey is allowed to have a little smile - after all he recruited Albert, Satele, Colledge and he drafted James. That's a pretty good batting rate in my book.

Disagree. Other than Albert, the OL has been very inconsistent and still has a way's to go.

When RT gets sacked 5 times, and Miller runs 18 time for 63 yards, it's not a VG game for the OL. Let's see how they do vs Jax, with a good DL, and then Detroit.

What about when Tannehill gets sacked 4 times and Miller runs for 61 yards?

I guess the 6 sack games and 10 yards rushing from last years O-line means this years O-line hasn't improved.

There is definitely room for improvement in consistency, but the posters topic is the OL has improved significantly since last year. That is obvious to anyone with an open mind.

I agree that Allowing 5 sacks is not acceptable. Having said that, my impression from watching the game is that pocket was clean for most passing attempts. That is a big change from last year.

He also wasn't sacked 5 times.

Wow, how can you hate this OL vs last year? One of the worst OLs in history last season just got turned around to produce. That plus scheme has given Tanne time to run and pass. Its significantly better and will improve as they gel.

They're better than last year but not perfect. Some of the sacks are on Ryan if you're talking about the Bears game.

The OL has not been great, especially the interior. You NEED the interior to play well for high level, consistent success.

However, even mediocre play is a vast improvement on the last couple years. Which is why many fans think there are no problems w. the OL now. That, however, is an illusion. The OL still isn't there. Not even close to what I would call a dominant OL.

Miami essentially replaced the entire offensive line in one off season. That's almost unheard of in the NFL. They also placed the bull**** Martin ***** Affair behind them in doing so.

This years line is a work of genius if you ask me given what was leftover from 2013.

I don't get to watch the games because of my work schedule. That means I only get to watch game highlights and even I know you're blind. The o-line this year is so much better than last year's.
