Dolphins offense ranked #2 in the NFL.....

Wow the Irony in the NFL is amazing! Do you guys think we will ever get both sides of the ball on the same page?

I'd settle for both sides being middle of the pack at the same time. It's either Defense is ranked 6th w/ 31st Offense or the Offense will end up being 9th ranked while the Defense hovers around 27th.

We feel bad about our Defense, but imagine how the Patriots feel? The let the lowly Dolphins put up a fair number of points on them, while we were pretty much expected to get whomped on. We lost (wish I kinda rewatched games) but we had many, many chances to win/tie at the least.

Well Henne exploded for 200 yards in the last 5 minutes and raised his rating LOL

This team is physically unfit and couldn't match strength for strength with the PATS and in so many ways this was more like a pre-season game with many missed tackles and assignments - but Henne and BM are set for a big season

I still cannot even fathom why people are surprised that Henne can throw for 400 yds on any team - it was clear to me that he lost the confidence of the dinosaur and the Offense not just Henne played the old fart off the team - the QB position is largely about confidence not just system - and the team lost the confidence of Henning and Lee but Henne became the lightning rod

The Miami offense last night was a mirage. A lot of cosmetic yards but totally ineffective within the body of the game.
They put together a very nice opening drive and then they basically weren't heard from again until there was only 4 minutes left in the game and the Pats didn't care anymore. They did put up a TD in that time, but only because they were set up at the 9 yard line by Odrick.

A total of 3 points generated by the offense between 8 minutes left in the 1st quarter, until 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter with 6 punts is NOT a good offensive performance. The Pats were never in danger of losing the game, and once it became 38-17 the game was over. The Dolphins racked up a bunch of meaningless yards (about 140 in the last 5 minutes) without really doing much all night.

The defense was awful no doubt, but I can't imagine the Pat's defense feel very good about their performance.
Pats are ranked 31st.

It will take a miracle for us to finish in the top 10 in defense this year. We are dead last and trail the Pats for 31st by 134 yards. Even if by some fluke this defense gave up 180 yards to the Texans next week (not bloody likely) we would still be giving up an average of 401 yards per game.
