Dolphins offense ranked #2 in the NFL.....

I know. Dan came here and Arnsparger leaves and the D goes to s!@t. Jimmy comes in the D improves, but Jimmy handcuffs Dan and the O suffers. For once, I would like to be proficient on both sides of the ball.

Why didnt you see that coming? They gave up 38 points and over 600 yards of offense. Of course they deserve that ranking.. Love the #2

The Miami offense last night was a mirage. A lot of cosmetic yards but totally ineffective within the body of the game.
They put together a very nice opening drive and then they basically weren't heard from again until there was only 4 minutes left in the game and the Pats didn't care anymore. They did put up a TD in that time, but only because they were set up at the 9 yard line by Odrick.

A total of 3 points generated by the offense between 8 minutes left in the 1st quarter, until 4 minutes left in the 4th quarter with 6 punts is NOT a good offensive performance. The Pats were never in danger of losing the game, and once it became 38-17 the game was over. The Dolphins racked up a bunch of meaningless yards (about 140 in the last 5 minutes) without really doing much all night.

I don't know if they feel that bad either. They gave up 7 in the first half. In the second half they gave up 3 points on a good drive by the dolphins and 7 points on the Brady int. that was returned to the 10 yard line. The last five minutes of the game they gave up around 150 yards after the welker touchdown. After the punt at 8:48 in the fourth, they were up 14 points and gave up 213 yards the rest of the game. That means that of nearly half of the phins yards came in garbage time. I doubt that they just fell apart the last 8 minutes of the game.

this past week..
Every defense played bad the first week..It has to do with the heat or lockoutor something..Cause players are cramping up in almost every game
