Dolphins offensive coordinator has to work magic

Good read. Perhaps he will work his magic one more time. Our offense is young and coachable. It will be very interesting this year to watch the progression of our offense.

Yea, I was thinking the same thing. A lot of young guys on offense and all of them seem pretty humble and team first oriented. Ronnie doesn't mind sharing carries with Ricky and vice versa, Ginn is a quiet guy Wilford was always a class act and hard worker in J-Ville. This is all great but I also don't think it would hurt to have a player or two with some real nasty attitudes.

I'm hoping Jake Long takes that role.

Well he certainly doesn't have big shoes to fill, this position has been somewhat cursed. I mean how many offensive coordinators have we gone through since like 2002? Five or six? I think some stability with offensive coaches is what really is hurting this teams offense, having to learn a new offense under new coaches every year can really slow the development of guys. If we get stability there perhaps Brown, Ginn, Beck our young guys can develop into really solid weapons.

Dolphins offensive coordinators since 2000.
Chan Gailey (2000-2001)
Norv Turner (2002-2003)
Chris Foerster (2004)
Scott Linehan (2005)
Mike Mularkey (2006)
Cam Cameron? (2007)
Dan Henning (2008)

Is it no wonder we have had no consistency on offense since 2003.

What I thought was interesting is the fact that they had Devon Bess listed as a "Dolphins receiver"....is this some kind of indication that he's a front runner to make the team? Veddddy Interesting..........I also notice that Henning is sporting Nick Saban's straw hat and has the same stride Saban had......scary!

he's the one guy almost everybody (from fans to media) thinks can/will make the team.

hey, if Hennig gets really desperate for offense, we can always try the new A-11 Offense

Together, the Dolphins' receivers quartet has a total of seven NFL touchdowns

Thats a sobering bit of trivia, for any OC to polish.
