Dolphins Officially Dismantled Almost Ready for LA!!

So we have gotten rid of 2 of our past 5 pro-bowlers and its a consensus that the Dolphins are the only team that has gotten worse this offseason.

Ireland got his man after the second time - let's not forget that Garrard snubbed us last off-season.

No one comes to the games anymore.

Ross is a shrewd business man who wants to make money.

The Dolphins aren't a passion play for him. He bought them at 1billion plus and needs to get ROI (Return on investment)

So how does he do that? Dumps the value to an all time low and hence lowers the resistance from the community then relocates them to the second most lucrative media market in the USA.

Los Angeles Sharks?

Maybe Goddell will let Miami-Dade keep the rights to the name of the franchise and we can have a new team in 5 years.

Spam with a side of whine..

Didn't the league year / free agency start last Tuesday at 4pm? So We have not had a full week and yet, the world is coming to an end, the Dolphins are the ONLY team to get worse, and it is all Jeff Ireland's fault. Because we traded a player that dropped more TD passes then he caught since he was here?

The Colts won 2 games, cut their best player ever along with half of their team - but somehow they got better? Seattle wanted to interview Manning, he said no, wouldn't even meet with them in Denver, but somehow they are a better franchise? Same with Kansas City. This piling on Ireland, Ross and the entire franchise is a joke.

Thanks Snake.

Not sure where this claim that the Dolphins generated 1 billion in profits originates and I have a hard time believing it. Since Ross bought the team the value has depreciated more 100 million dollars.

There are generations of ingrained passionate diehard fans here who have put up with a lot since Shula. That includes a couple of contingents of incarcerated populations.

Ross has a mansion in Trumpville Palm Beach and has long enjoyed the rich and famous social lifestyle of the area he partially grew up in (graduating from N Miami HS) that's within 2 hours or so by private jet from his NYC offices. Unless he wants to give that all up or secure Obama type 24/7 security, considering that fans kill themselves over losses, unless he relocates to LA with the team, it probably wouldn't be a prudent decision :idk:

No team is going to move to LA b/c

1. Group building stadium wants a heavily favored rent/food/parking deal
2. Group wants a signifacant minority stake in the team (rumored to be in the 30-40% range)

The Jags new owner mentioned these when some reporter asked if he wanted to move...

NFL teams are only going to make more millions when the new tv deals kick in...

Where did you come up with this stuff? Man you're really hurt aren't you? I hate to see you when something really bad happens.

Browns, Raiders, Cardinals, Steelers, Ravens, Lions, Saints, all stayed the same or got worse. (off the top of my head).

Errr yeah....but almost all of those teams made the playoffs last year...so if I were a fan, I would have a little more faith in the management than I do in that jerk Ireland.

The Dolphins will not move from Miami, the NFL will not allow it the market is too big, even with poor ticket sales we still generated $1billion last year, there was a list of 5 or so teams that could possibly move to LA and Miami is not on that list, the rams, bills, jags, raiders, and vikings are all teams that could make that move, the Dolphins are not leaving Miami so please stop.

can you please explain this? How did the Dolphins generate 1 billion with poor ticket sales? merchandise?
