I hope this is the biggest issue we have before the season. After last year, I don't know how much more my heart can take. Who just goes awol on a team, especially a 10+ year veteran? And our MLB gets hurt on the first play, of the first preseason game, of the first game of his career, go figure. I knew we were doomed from that moment. Take my virtual hand and let us pray that we have a a very boring time leading up to the regular season!

The heat is wearing on Josh Sitton. (Allen Eyestone/The Post)

DAVIE — His initial plunge into Organized Team Activities and minicamp with the Dolphins has pushed right guard Josh Sitton to the brink of parting with trademark wilderness man look.

After a decade in the cooler climates of Chicago and Wisconsin, Sitton’s been sweating through a brutal spring that’s seen temperatures over 90 degrees and South Florida’s usual humidity. He admitted two weeks ago it might be time to cut his long locks and shave his beard.

I don’t know how any players can stand long hair or beards in Miami. I have to shave my head for Ohio summers.

Between this and Osweiler, who knows where this crazy merry go round ends.

ive just never been able to figure out how its not uncomfortable as hell to have the chin strap when you have the beard, or for players with long hair, or dreads how your helmet can fit properly and safely, seems like it would have a lot more play in it than if you didn't have hair hanging out of it
